  1. Yes Diesel Rocks! Have to give Kudo's to mini for have a diverse product line off one base model. o much better than what Fiat has done.
  2. $1500 tune ups and $150 oil changes are enough to make me trade in for something more reasonable. I can see why BMW was forced to go to we cover all your maintenance for the first 3yrs. Only way to get their product to move. I suspect BMW and MB does more leases than any other luxury car company. Would be interesting to stack up the numbers of all the luxury auto companies and see how much is Leases versus Purchasing with the average length of auto ownership. This would give a good insight to who has a more committed customer base I would think. At least from a real ownership standpoint.
  3. Local Chevy Dealership in Kirkland had two of these ECO models with eAssist on sale with a big sign saying save $15K off MSRP. Pretty sad day when you have to discount so heavily an auto and tarnish the reputation due to stupid Executive thinking.
  4. Every company, BMW, MB, AUDI, Lexus uses Low end product platforms from their cousins. As Drew states, if all the visual bits and internal touch and feel bits are the proper top of the line best of the best, no one will give a rats ass about the genetic work of where the power train started it's roots at.
  5. WOW, Change the Numbering and charge more but still the same small 3 series as the rest of the family. Amazing how many lemmings will pay more just for the name plate.
  6. True, as Diesels and alternative fuels take off with Higher and higher MPG, Hybrids loose out their value. Honda has their Civic CNG which comes fully loaded for $29K and at almost 40mpg, the cost of fueling is half what Petrol is at fast fill stations and if you fuel from home most times less than a $1 a gallon. Hard to justify this, I would rather take a fully loaded accord, convert it to CNG and get the same MPG with more Torque and HP at greatly reduced fueling cost.
  7. Phucking Phablets. Why not put the phone software in Surface Pro use it as a phone? Better yet, use the Dell Precision 6700 - the Russian military tank. I realize that most people fit the So called US average of 5' 8" tall. As such, existing phones are just fine, yet for me at 6'6" tall I have large hands and in playing piano, cover 14 key reach. So up until now 100% of phones are always too small, I hit multiple buttons and it has been hell to use a cell phone. With these Phablets as they are called and you point out, for us with large hands, these are much better and work great. Plus there are many who actually like this 5-6" size phones. I do appreciate your sarcasm,
  8. I am so loving the size of the Nokia 1520
  9. Thanks Fap, that 1520 is freakin sexy based on leaked images and what it can do. Rock on Nokia!!
  10. So yes the Defender has had a long successful run but to me looks very dated. Now we have the DC100 as a starting point for what the New Defender could look like.
  11. No Deep End as I think this is an Excellent Price for the Car. Awesome Green Creds with lovely body lines and a great interior. Excited to check it out once it is on the lot at the dealership. Brad my sales rep at my local Caddy shop told me they have 4 sold already and are expecting it to sell very well in the Seattle area just like Tesla has. Win Win for GM!
  12. Weird, it looks the same in both the latest versions of Firefox and IE 10. Not sure but maybe my company has added a filter on the firewall. Will try changing some things.
  13. While I know they did it to stream line the auto's for MPG, I will say I miss the lip that used to keep water from coming off the car into the door way.
  14. We'll about time they finally upgraded the Defender. Course be interesting to see what they do to replace it.
  15. wow, someone was paid off for this to go there again. What a poor excuse for a auto.
  16. Welcome back, sounds like you have been living in interesting times. Wish I could see the picks, but I figure they will show up some time in the future. This is how lately pictures have been showing up for me.
  17. Sweet Ride, those were amazing auto's.
  18. Sweet Looking Ride, thanks for the update, glad to hear over all it is doing well.
  19. Nice Message of consistency from Audi. CNN Anchor is a moron.
  20. Go to the VOLT as your Hybrid platform and drop eAssist in everything. Pathetic platform eAssist. I would never buy an eAssist car unless they gave me one.
  21. So down to deciding between the Samsung S4 or Nokia Lumia 1020. Decisions Decisions Decisions
  22. I have a Toyota Camry Hybrid 2012 and it has the largest opening doors I have ever seen on a car; tall and wide and open real wide. It has more front seat space than my old Lucerne and it was really big. Two problems with this. 1) While it is big for many, I have tried the latest version of Camry and while roomy to a point, it is not for tall people as once I got the front seat so that I was comfortable, no one could sit behind me and I really do not like sitting partially reclined. 2) I support American jobs first before anything else and will buy from GM and Ford as long as they exist to support our country. So Toyota will always loose out.
  23. I think sport can be used if done properly. A CTS V sport just is wrong in my book. If they want to do levels then have the following. ATS ATS Sport ATS V CTS CTS Sport CTS V SRX SRX Sport SRX V XTS XTS Sport XTS V Escalade Escalade Sport Escalade V Or just replace them all with Touring instead of Sport.
  24. WOW, Dated looking, old and sounds like a sewing machine. Wonder how much that is costing the tax payers. The company should have been left dead. I do not see them surviving in the long run.
  25. I wonder if you had converted MiniVans to CNG if it would make it even thought the MPG does not change but very clean to run.
