  1. Naw, Blue is Chevy Color where if this was a GMC, then I would agree with Red trim.
  2. Freakin HOT HOT HOT! I love it. Wish they would bring back an AWD Syclone!
  3. WOW, Just glad you are OK. Did the bear make it ok? Keep us updated as I am interested in what hitting a bear costs to repair the car. We have bear and deer here all the time. So far so lucky I have not hit either.
  4. Elmiraj as the next ELDERADO would be a great addition. Just change the name.
  5. So in reviewing this and seeing it includes a 240v charging station, I asked myself, Where is support for a Level 3 charger? If electric is what we all should be moving to, then why do they not support the rapid charging you can get with a level 3 charger? Am I missing something?
  6. Today Saks Fifth Avenue together with GM sent out email inviting people to purchase one of the Limited 100 Special Saks Versions of the ELR. http://emails.cadillac.com/w/webView?cid=13989614706&mid=1193848084&pid=284952&vid=13684&ee=Ry5EQVZJRC5GRUxUQEZST05USUVSLkNPTQ__&si=&mv=H&bv=H&oc=H&sc=&k=17AAqK Exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue: the limited-edition Cadillac ELR in White Diamond exterior with your choice of Light Cashmere or Jet Black interior. This very special package also includes a premium 240V charging station and installation service.* To order one of 100 special-edition ELRs, call 855-SAKS-CAD.
  7. I will say that while I love the new Yukon, the front on view of the Grill does give me a solid FORD Vibe with that massive grill.
  8. Interesting, Fiat Down, Chrysler staying luke warm, jeep having a nice little bump, Dodge & Ram coming on Strong. Durango and Charger showing strong sales gains. Seems the rest of the family needs to refresh ASAP.
  9. Is it me or does this Chevy have the same headlights as what was in the SAAB auto's? It sure hits me as SAAB influenced.
  10. All track with hybrid / diesel / CNG engine options would be a great competitor to Subaru.
  11. Thanks, I did find it amazing that the fully loaded MB for 30 has a Pole to hold up the hood compared to all the other auto's with their shock/struts pushing up the hood. Just 500 more on a stripped down MB and you have the difference in hoods. I would think MB could have standardized every auto including their starter/entry level car to have the same hood support system.
  12. Platinum
  13. I see the picture now of your purple car and love it. That is a beauty.
  14. Agree with Drew, change the name to Chevy Commercial Vehicle (CCV) and sell it to the fleet's. Continue to tweak and strengthen it as a top quality product that can handle the abuse of commercial use and show the world that a fleet car can hold up, check out what we build for your family. I believe that people can be sold on a quality product that is used by Fleet and then go check out the rest of the product line up and this would allow keeping residuals higher.
  15. Over all very happy with the GM increase in sales, now here is to hoping they do not sit on their past accomplishments and push forward to do even better.
  16. What? A Camaro I find uncomfortable? A CTS-V wagon or coupe that is as much as a Tesla? F... that, I'll just get a BMW or a Tesla. The fugly Chevy SS? The never-going-to-happen-because-the-Ute-dies-in-2016 El Camino? Sorry, I really don't find what GM is currently selling to be very appealing. I put up with GM's BS for decades because I actually LIKE most of the Pontiacs they created (Not the G3, T1000, G5 or the Daewoo LeMans). I put up with the awful ergonomics of the 3rd and 4th gen Firebirds because I felt they look a 100x better than the Camaro. And I can show up at the Pontiac shows with the Firebirds, supercharged Grand Prixs, GTO or G8 and while there is a little harassment, there is still some kinship and some respect... because they understood that for every Trans Am or GTO, that GM had to sell 10 FWD appliances... unlike showing up with 'brand C'. Eh, sometimes I don't even know why I bother posting here anymore. You post to strike up just this type of conversation and debate. Without everyone's voice whether you agree with it or not we cannot make change happen. Lemmings give up and accept their place in life. The Eagles will attack each other at times but accept living with each other to make change! You are a young eagle, do not give up and you will find that one auto that strikes your fancy and passion for what you love. Fact is that while we all might come from different backgrounds and countries, what makes us human and strive for a better world is the ability to accept each other and those differences and defend why you believe in what you care about. At the end of the day, I would still sit down, offer you beer, wine, woman and song and relax taking in the beauty of our planet and the diversity of what makes it all so amazing. I am looking at a picture on my wall of an Orange 68 Pontiac GTO Convertible and wish they could do a car like this as a limited run for the GMC/Buick family. The 08 Trailblazer AWD SS that I bought strikes me the same way. Limited production compared to the mass produced trailblazers that I do not like. Hang in there and I believe you will find that passion. Some times we do get down but never give up!
  17. Welcome to the Borg! I thought Subaru made what you describe? VW does show a TDI Jetta Wagon.
  18. Very Cool, nice job. This should make it easy for anyone to upgrade their tail lights.
  19. This is very true, until baby boomers move past the driving phase of their life, they are still challenged with learning new technology. I think dealerships will only help retain customers by having tech overview and support.
  20. Kenworth Truck manufacturing plant has this temp setup, you see the framed semi's with engines running from the one plant to the custom plant where they get their special body and going around the city of Renton here you see the guys on a temp seat driving the semis with no bodies. Pretty funny looking.
  21. My 94 GMC Suburban has wasted space with my 350 bored out 402 in there and yet you put in the 454 and all of a sudden you have tight space and wish for more room to work on the engine.
