WOW, they actually managed to make this even uglier. Now it looks like it got punched in the nose and is stubby due to the collision with a fist. They clearly have lost their design mojo and only their die hard lemming customers seem to continue to buy this garbage.

Someone needs to introduce recall legislation to kick this turd out of office.

Weird, but the nose looks like it was grafted onto the body. Proportions are just weird. Very ugly to me.

SEMA Show: 2014 Dodge Challenger Gets Shaken and Mopar-ed
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Dodge
Awesome, what a way to go out with this product line. I suspect this is a way to make collectors items before it gets replaced by a Barracuda.- 11 replies

In it's existing state, I doubt Mitsubishi can survive, another auto company that will have to merge to survive but eventually I think will end up in the history books. I suspect we will have only 4-6 major brands by 2025 and many of the minor car players will either die off or get bought out and be niche models for the few major players.

Service is top as we all agree, GM could not only lead but clearly set a standard for top notch service. They need this, I have come across many under 40 people that have not had any issues with using the electronics in auto's yet this is not the large buying group that is having issues. 40+ crowd is a mixed bag of peeps that enjoy driving, know what a freedom machine is about and yet with all the tech no babble systems, many are challenged to use their new auto's to the fullest. 1) start with better testing by the auto makers for cars. The software quality sucks and is not getting proper QA testing. 2) During the Mule stage of the auto, they also need a mule stage of the Electronics systems they plan to put into the auto to make sure the public is on board with what is being proposed / built. 3) Independent quality check by an outside 3rd party of said electronic systems. This will improve quality of the products, reduce support costs, reduce warranty costs, improve company image and over all increase sales due to a better customer experience.

How General Motors was Really Saved
G. David Felt replied to Intrepidation's topic in General Motors
A great plan that hopefully someone at GM will realize can be done in a Niche fashion. -
Great review, I would take one of these and that means allot from an SUV guy. Fell in love with the one they showed at the Seattle Autoshow. Amazing looking.

Ya never know what you might find on the internet or for that matter YouTube. In today's world of post anything be it tacky or inspirational it came as a great video to watch about people coming together to make a persons dream happen before he left this world. I bet you will shed at least a few tears. Awesome to all who contributed to making this happen.

Too bad they did not have the king cab as most people looking for the regular cab will spend a little more for a king cab but will pass at the cost of a crew cab.

Ocnblu you do not think that a 6.2L TT V8 would beat the Supercharged V8? Chevy can have a mean Full Size SS truck and GMC can have their midsize/small Canyon GMC Syclone with the 3.6L V6 TT AWD. This would give each a special performance truck for the enthusiast.

Blah, nice but just a jelly bean body with a Predator face. Pass on this. The interior dash is just hideous. -
Great Engine the 3.6TT for a GMC Syclone rebirth! Then with a v8 TT you can have a nice SS for Chevy.

Marchionne: New Five-Year Plan For Alfa Romeo :Comments
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Alfa Romeo
I do not see it surviving at the current rate of lost sales: Last year the brand barely sold 100.000 units in the whole world, down 29% circa. The brand is far from the late 80′s/early 90′s when it sold 144.000 units only in Italy (6% market share). Last year it had to deal with only 2 models, as the 159′s production ended. In Italy, which counts for 42% of the brand’s sales, its registrations fell a massive 28%. 2013 Alfa Romeo may sell around 70.000 units, which is extremely bad. Full Details see here: http://fiatgroupworld.com/2013/05/04/alfa-romeo-sales-2012-full-year-analysis/ Over All, either they need to make it a niche model with a smaller profitable number of auto's or kill it and invest the R&D dollars into Fiat & Chrysler.- 9 replies

You cannot say this car had big plans when they barely sold 100 or was it 150 at most? Over priced, ugly little thing. Toyota is sitting on a ton of the iQ cars based on looking online at local Scion dealerships. I wonder just how many are sitting on lots and what that equates to as sell through for North America. Does anyone have a subscriptions to wards to look at this latest report to see just how many iQ's are sitting around the us? http://wardsauto.com/datasheet/us-light-vehicle-inventory-summary-october-2013

Marchionne: New Five-Year Plan For Alfa Romeo :Comments
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Alfa Romeo
Maybe like GM, it is time to just KILL Alfa Romeo and let it live in the history books. One can only have so many revival plans before it is a lost cause and this is clearly a lost cause.- 9 replies

How General Motors was Really Saved
G. David Felt replied to Intrepidation's topic in General Motors
Awesome read, very insightful glad the story was published. Makes sense for the brands they killed at the time. I could still see having a Hummer and Pontiac package for GMC & Buick. These would be niche packages for the public to purchase. -
Yes Awesome truck, Mud posted the covering here. http://www.cheersandgears.com/topic/82438-chevy-truck-news2013-sema-show-chevrolet-reveals-the-silverado-cheyenne-concept/#entry737726

Toyota News: Rumorpile: Toyota GT86 Convertble Off Again?
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Toyota
We had our first major fall storm of the year in Seattle with sustained winds of 60mph. It shut down the floating bridge across Lake Washington, numerous power outages and major disruptions to the ferry system, etc. Sadly convertibles did not get a good name as a man was nearly killed when a tree got blown onto his new Ford Mustang convertible and the local news talked it up that he would have survived better if he had a steel roof. Course I think either way, a heavy 150 foot tall evergreen crashing down on your car was going to cause injury no matter way. Maybe a bit less with a steel roof, but they still would have had to cut him out like the fire department did on his convertible as they cut the support structure of the roof away and the side of the car to get to the man. While I know there are those that love a convertible and the open wind type driving, without plenty of money, the low cost cars that are convertibles are just not fun to drive.- 6 replies
