  1. I did too
  2. the Camaro will turn them around. they have to build that thing. I'm just curious how far along it might be.
  3. I'm shocked Edmunds hasn't seen the Camaro. I think they're just playing with us. And does anyone know if it's a working concept like the Challenger or just a show car with golf cart engine? I'd think the golf cart.
  4. I don't think they'll have any suvs left by chicago. my guess is pickups.
  5. 6. i think an all-aluminum RWD coupe from Nissan with ttops would be pretty badass (minus all the gizmos). Of course a production version wouldn't be aluminum and then you'd be right. Of course it would prob rev a bit smoother than the stock solstice ;) The S Class I like for some reason. This V12 S65 is just insane. the last one was crazy as it was.
  7. Don't want to post too much here and swamp you guys in posts you don't care about but we just posted the latest official images of the Nissan URGE here http://www.mph-online.com/web/news/00242 and the merc S65 AMG here http://www.mph-online.com/web/prtranslated/00348 enjoy Dave
  8. well you get the big concept car of the show. everything else is just cake IMO. Most of it though is production ready and "real" which I always prefer to the whacky concepts that never materialize. And there will probably be another surprise too. Trucks won't be til later. The suvs look just like what has come out. I haven't heard on the Outlook yet. could be Detroit. but probably chicago.
  9. sorry buick fans ;( at least nothing I've heard of. maybe chicago. as for the hummer h2 New for 2006 * Special edition H2 with unique color, equipment and trim, along with rear-vision camera and optional rear DVD system * Outside rear view mirrors That is all.
  10. well yes some of the stuff is fun I admit. Although after weeks of resizing photos and formatting text I'm a bit blurried eyed. I'm just glad these guys stagger the stuff out so I'm not blind. And IMO this year's auto show season is going to be pretty damn good!!!! And Gm fans have to be happy with what you're getting. trust me, I've seen almost everything.
  11. and gm is really the only big three carmaker doing anything for L.A. and releasing stuff earlier then on the show dates for some of the stuff. So you have to give em props for that.
  12. I'm up too. Oh well. I HAVE to cover this stuff. it's still news etc. OK if this stuff bugs you then you'll also not care about the Saab debuts on the 2nd. But you'll probably want to see the pontiac debut on new years eve. Is that vaguely helpful?
  13. hey at least you're getting something before everyone else ;) And new year's eve you get something cool. although it doesn't look new either...
  14. this is for Japan only like said above and the new xB will look like the 2tB concept as also stated earlier. Don't worry. we won't see these on our streets.
  15. well the new wrangler will satisfy the purists. i don't think the compass will sell because it's ugly not because it's car based. I don't see the need for it AND the Patriot. the patriot will do better because it looks better. Car based SUVs can really do what 99% of buyers need of them. If you want more than get the wrangler. or the FJ etc.
  16. The Challenger concept was built to accommodate a convertible from the start. So that would lead one to believe if they build it they will build the vert too.
  17. The fake outdoors just gets bigger this year with 2 new models and the Commander http://www.mph-online.com/web/news/00239 Gotta say the new Wrangler is going to be hot.
  18. It's not that the other stuff isn't available elsewhere it is the combination of them with a single price that saves some $ if you're going with a Hemi and sunroof anyway. My biggest thing would be those seats. They are much nicer than the standard ones. DCX is doing this a lot now with very common upgrades people want. I like the idea they package it like this. it is very oldschool. BTW the Boston Acoustic system is kick ass. one of the best around.
  19. looks like dec 28 is next embargo. then there's a big one for you guys on new years eve. After getting all my materials from the big three I'm mainly positive. Gm folks should be pretty happy.
  20. funny how they posted those numbers! Also GM seems to be the only American manufacturer debuting anything at the L.A. show. Chrysler and Ford are putting all their eggs in the Detroit basket.
  21. dirty mind. Our kind of reader. I'll pass on your request. Also what is your thumbnail now?
  22. I'm not into the styling but think it is still cool. I seriously am thinking the Camaro will be my next car. In black of course. It will steal the show. Maybe DCX got wind of it and that is why so many images of the Challenger leaked. They certainly know how to keep lids on things like they did with the Jeep concepts from last year. Gosh 5 more days until more new stuff!
  23. I normally won't post every link on our site, I promise. But I just put up this feature story from the current issue of MPH (we don't post everything until the next issue comes out). But this one is really a great read by Eddie Alterman, the man that wrote the Woodward Z06 story you may or may not remember. Enjoy! Dave http://www.mph-online.com/mag/features/0051
  24. I would think the hatch would be seen sometime in this auto show season. if not chicago, new york etc. the interior of the last aveo wasnt' bad for the price and the new GM bin parts are just another step up. The mpg last time wasn't great either. don't get that with such a underpowered and light vehicle.
