  1. LOL, ah you nerds always relate stuff back to computers. Actually what I was saying is that since people here obviously have some interest in cars (an object), it means that they have some capacity to be object oriented. That's not a trait that you see in people who have lower than average IQ's, at least not to the extent that they would become so interested in it that they would find a computer to go post about it on the internet.
  2. I would say that most people posting on a website like this probably are - though not geniuses - above average in intelligence. This sort of analytical, object oriented type stuff tends to attract smarter folk. ^_^
  3. There's a picture of the future CTS at another website which shall go nameless. It looks ugly. I fell in love with the CTS the first time i saw one in Automobile magazine in August 2001. I convinced my family to get that as our next car. The future CTS does nothing for me. Also, this website claims the next CTS will grow in size. Unbelieavable! The present CTS is already the biggest vehicle in its class. It should be shrinking in size. Not to BMW 3 series 176" proportions, but maybe more like the G35 at 186". If the CTS grows, it'll be about the same external size as the STS.
  4. Many people at Edmunds are saying the lack of a folding 3rd row seat will be a deal breaker. If it's true that the rest of the competition has this, it could be a huge blunder for GM.
  5. I'm astonished that people continue to buy Mercedes Benz C-Class cars. They are junk, and there are so many better options on the market.
  6. GM shouldn't be cutting any corners in R&D.
  7. Rick Wagoner has made so many foolish moves at GM that it's time for him to go. GM's product has improved, but not nearly enough. And GM the company is in its weakest position ever. Not all of GM's woes can be blamed on the stupidity of Roger Smith. Much of it was self inflicted. Rick Wagoner has run GM's shareholder value into the ground. He is too much of a pussy to seriously confront the UAW. He was a complete pussy when it came to the Fiat deal. The man does not have the courage to offer serious leadership. He has no aptitude for cars. But then again, he's not the greatest beancounter or marketer either. I really don't know what he brings to the table. I think he should go.
  8. I saw a lot of Jeep Grand Cherokees when I was in London over the summer. It must be very expensive to own and operate one over there, but it is also quite popular amongst wealthy Londoners.
  9. Did you write that article yourself? It sucks. It just what every other clown in the media rehashes on a daily basis. Welcome to C&G.
  10. No one has a crystal ball when it comes to future cash flows. GM needed a big hit on Wall Street, and since the car division and the financial division aren't delivering it, this was supposed to be it. We'll see if their new deal really saves $15 billion, or if the real figure is something much, much lower.
  11. Isn't it great how so many tall buildings are going up in Arab countries, because they don't have to fear the Mooselimbs bombing their own structures?  Fuckers.
  12. Seems like a bustling metropolis. The cosmopolitan rival of a New York or Paris. Allright, don't get all "Don't mess with Texas" on me. B)
  13. I'm not in favor of this. GMAC has been a source of financial stability to GM in bad times. Plus it makes sense for GM to have a big financial division, because they need to so much money in the bank at all times to pay off employees and suppliers (because cash receipts may not happen at the same time as cash outflows). That money is used productively through GMAC to make more money for GM.
  14. Maybe this could be a good way for you to produce an ocnblue Jr. She wants to have your kid.
  15. I can't believe how cheap the Ion is, for a vehicle made in America.
  16. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9662037/ I thought GM was the leader in hybrid buses, but now in one order DCX will almost match the number of hybrid city buses GM has sold. Anyone know more about this deal? What made them go with the DCX buses as opposed to the GM buses?
  17. Rick Wagoner now finds a huge problem on his hands. Basically Delphi can squeeze a lot of money out of GM. They can say: "We'll stop delivery to your plants until you pay us, because we have no money", and GM will have to pay up. Oops! Struck by the Rick again!
  18. I get it even cheaper than you. I go to a Barnes and Noble, grab them off the shelf, sit down in a nice comfy chair, and read them all for free. I ain't paying money for that shi-ite.
  19. Being outgoing or extroverted is not a quality that I find attractive in females, because it usually means that they need to have lots of people (read: dudes) around them at all times. But then again, outgoing girls tend to be the ones that you meet most of the time. The nice girl who works in the library who you want to meet doesn't go out that much so you don't meet her. ^_^
  20. At the time, I thought that meant that the girl was really into me.
  21. I was at a bar with a friend. As we were about to leave, my friend made this courtesy gesture of holding the door open for a girl. As a result of that, this girl started talking to us. She seemed to be especially interested in me, and she asked for my cell phone and left her number on it (I did not even ask for it). She told me to give her a call to see what was going on later on that night. So one hour later (at 11:45), I give her a call. She's going to this other bar with friends. I ask my friend if he wants to come along, but he's had some Mexican foot and he's crapping his bowels out. So I don't mind really, because I was kind of worried that he might be interested in her too. I go to the bar and meet up with this girl. It's a huge bar and she's saying hello to half the men there. That's not a good sign. Then after a while she goes off to the dance floor and starts grinding her crotch up against some dude. God damnit. Stupid bitches. Why do the ones that give you their phone number always happen to be hoes with ten other dudes around them at all times? I now return you to your regularly scheduled wanking.
  22. What does this mean for GM? Is it true that if Delphi declares bankruptcy, GM will inherit all the obligations (pensions and health care) owed to Delphi's workers? If so, this could be the ruin of GM.
  23. I always wondered why GM never allied themselves with a "winner" like Toyota, Honda, or BMW. Subaru is a company that's going nowhere. Sure, they have a following in hilly parts of the snowbelt, the riceboy movement in LA, and amongst lesbians, but all of those are niche groups. There's no mainstream Subaru appeal. And now their best salesman Crocodile Dundee is getting old, and other automakers have encroached on their turf of making AWD cars. Also, I've seen hemorrhoids that look more attractive than Subaru's new lineup of vehicles. :puke:
  24. And if you didn't get your fill of white boys doing reggae, they'll have a new channel called "12 hours of Snow".
  25. In related news, XM has announced that Gordon Lightfoot will be put on heavy rotation on all the rock stations. :D
