  1. I would still rather have the BMW. Not that I don't like the Infiniti too, I just don't like it more than the BMW.
  2. Because I would still never choose any other Ferrari over the F430, or even the 360 Modena.
  3. Wasn't there something recently showing ~70% are fleet sales? What kind of expectations do they have over there?
  4. My city recently(about 2 months ago) replaced all their Crown Vics with Chargers. They all appear to be V8 Chargers too.
  5. One would be a core product for Cadillac, going in the car replacing the DTS. A v12 could be used in the Escalade and EXT to spread the costs. The v16, will not fit in anything but a Sixteen. To have a v16 ultra luxury car, when the rest of your cars are struggling to compete against their class, does not make sense.
  6. And really, to all the people saying the Sixteen(which I don't like very much anyway), Velite, and Bel Air(which would be a flop) need to be built, can you afford a $300,000+, and $40,000(Velite would be Buicks Thunderbird) cars? Forget the Bel Air, it could be $15,000 and it wouldn't sell. Or would it make more sense to fast track the Volt, which I could see selling 100,000+ of per year, or using the funds on cars that need it, like the Malibu, Impala, Astra, Cobalt? These are the cars that bring in revenue, which is where the money comes from to fund everything GM does. Or would you like the headlines to be, GM is down 35% for sales this year, but at least they sold 200 Sixteens.
  7. That's exactly what Cadillac should be doing. Hopefully the sub-CTS will be on Alpha.

Heres what a quick search gives me: http://www.smh.com.au/news/business/porsch...7586803633.html

I thought I read something about Porsche buying VW. Maybe they were just in talks to buy VW, I don't know.
  10. I like the idea of giving Pontiac a mid-engine car. Make it more upscale, more refined than the Corvette, with a higher price tag. The Blue Devil will still kill it on a track so we don't have to worry about it outdoing the Corvette. The LS3 would work fine, just keep it lightweight~3000lbs. If Pontiac is to be the performance brand, why shouldn't they have a car like this? Less bang for your buck than a Corvette, but more refined, just like the GTO should be compared to the Camaro.

Believable. Look at what companies VW owns. Bugatti? Lambo? Both have 4wd systems capable of handling alot of power, and engines making alot of power. And don't forget who owns VW. Another sports car maker with big power and AWD
  12. That elimated all my choices, the only one of those I would consider is the Porsche. My top choices would be the X5 and the SRX.
  13. They should give away a free mini-truck(think smart cars with a bed) with every purchase of a full size truck. One truck getting 20mpg, and one getting 50mpg. the average of that would be---35mpg.
  14. Please no 4 door GTOs. It should be a coupe, and more upscale like the current GTO. There should be a 3.6L DI, or 5.3L version called Tempest, with the V8 top of the line coupe being called GTO.
  15. Sounds like it will be heavier than my GTO. It will need the 30 extra hp(LS3, not the LS7) just to equal my car in performance.
  16. About 140 in my GTO.
  17. OMG! Comparing the HP on a subcompact to a 4000lb SUV and a 3700lb car? The Lotus Elise only has 190hp but I wouldn't consider it a slow car. The Hummer H2 has 316hp, maybe Saturn should have one of them to use for their RL version?
  18. Sounds exactly like what I do. But whats up with everyones poor numbers? I usually cruise at like 85-90(best MPG is between 60-70), and I still manage to get 19-21mpg in a 400hp RWD 3800lb car. When driving my parents 04 Malibu I my avg was 28-29mpg in mixed driving.
  19. No! I found many 02s and 03s for about 18k-22k with low miles, but they were 330ci's. The newer ones are alot cheaper for insurance too. They were in very good condition.
  20. I avg about 19-21mpg in my GTO. If I try to conserve, I get about 24mpg
  21. Maybe GM should just use the 2.0L turbo DI from the Solstice GXP.
  22. Well since DI affects the HP more than it affects the fuel efficiency, the only way to get what would want, would be to use a smaller engine like the 2.8L with DI.
