  1. I will take a picture of it sitting near my GTO in my driveway for you tomorrow. And I don't have to worry about sending him to lxforums.com, he is selling it ASAP. Would you also like me to send you a picture of both of his service invoices too?
  2. My family has owned no less than 10 GM cars in the past 10 years, and they have all been mostly trouble free. We even owned a Ford and that had almost 140k miles on it when my parents traded it in. I don't really trust Fords cars, but I trust their trucks and Suvs completely. I wouldn't put up with a GM car having engine problems within its first 30k miles. That's unacceptable, and if you think it is acceptable, then you must have really low standards. I really hope Chrysler fixes it's issues, which it looks like with their current management, they are off to a good start.
  3. You can make fun all you want, but personally, I don't trust Chrysler products. My brothers Charger even made him consider buying Japanese. I think their styling is getting worse too. I liked a few of their older stuff, like the previous Durango, and their previous Dakota. But now I just look at their new cars, and think, What were they thinking? But I'll do the same with GM too. And before you get mad and come back with 100 reasons why Chrysler is better than GM, you can relax, because GM topped Chrysler in ugliness with the G6 GXP.
  4. I'm not a fan of how the Viper sounds. Well, at least the previous version. I was at a car show last Saturday, and there was a ~2000 Viper coupe, and he was revving the engine. Before I actually saw what car it was, I thought it was Honda. I don't know if it was just from what the owner did to the car or what, but it sound horrible. The 5.7L Hemis sound alot better.
  5. I have to disagree. People don't buy minivans based on looks. The interior matters more in a minivan, than it does on an Aztek or a BMW. Minivans sell on refinement, utility, and nice interiors, as long as they are not completely ugly, or drive like buses.
  6. I don't know about that. Lutz has already stated they can't send the Ute here as an El Camino because Chevy already has enough models. There is room for the Impala and G8, with the Impala being LWB Zeta and G8 being SWB Zeta. The G8 can have a higher pricetag, despite it's smaller size, and will be tuned more towards performance. The Impala will still need to stay reasonably priced, so they don't lose all 300k sales that it does now. The Malibu may be able to make up for some of it, but not all. The G8 will be lower volume, and can afford to have a higher price, since the Grand Prix is lame anyway. If GM gives Pontiac a coupe(GTO), and mid-size RWD(Torana), Pontiac would be GM's hottest brand. If that happens, Cadillac would also be able to use the Torana platform to make a true 3 series competitor. Buick could offer the LWB Zeta, with a higher price than the Impala, and it can appeal to the DTS buyers who will need somewhere to go once the DTS is killed. I don't think Cadillac should get Lambda, they should just update the SRX to be less wagon-like, and lose the 3rd row. It's a great vehicle, that is being held back because it looks odd from certain angles, and should never have been stretched to fit the tiny 3rd row.
  7. First, I don't hide the fact that I dislike Buick. I hate driving them, and their styling doesn't appeal to me at all. But, I am not their target buyer. I don't think Buick should be killed(even though I personally wouldn't miss the brand). Buick needs to stay to take the sales of the DTS when it is gone. Buick should get a LWB Zeta, while Pontiac gets the SWB Zeta. I think buick would be fine with 4 models. Epsilon 2 sedan-get rid of the lacrosse name LWB Zeta convertible with a backseat Enclave
  8. FJ CruiserI would call the xB a mini crossover too
  9. I wanna see a '94 Suburban vs. '04 Renault Modus supermini
  10. Fleet sales are bad because they hurt resale values. The more the value drops, the less chance you have of trading it in. If you can't trade it in because your upside down, that's a lost sale.
  11. So if we don't get those great Holdens we all want, we will know who to blame.
  12. Even then, the concept car was AWD. I would love to get a Holden Torana as a Pontiac.
  13. But we won't miss your car. You mind taking a few more Grand Prixs over there with you? I'll trade you a 98 Grand Prix GTP if you send me an Opel Speedster
  14. Heres a picture for your viewing pleasure
  15. Nope. My car is your favorite car, designed by your favorite part of GM. It's name is 3 letters long, and is sold as the same brand as yours.
  16. Except, your comparing a coupe, to wagons, or small crossovers.
  17. I think your engine is facing the wrong way compared to a real car like mine.
  18. My GTO wasn't brand new, it was a 2 years old with 13,000 miles. My brothers Charger wasn't brand new either. Sorry for not going around preaching how great Chrysler is. Needless to say, my brother isn't buying another Chrysler. The only thing that drew him in was the styling, and it being RWD. The best part is, his is a 250hp V6, mine is a 400hp V8, and he can only get 2 mpg better than I can, even though our cars have identical weights.
  19. IMO that's like saying Chevy shouldn't have a full size truck. If anything, one of the other Lambdas need to go away, not the Chevy.
  20. Hopefully the reliability is better than my brothers 3.5L Charger. It's been back to the dealer twice for lifter issues. Not to mention it dropped in value $5,000 in 6 months. Me and him bought are cars at the same time. Mine is still worth what I paid for it, his dropped $5,000. He just wants to get out of it before the warranty is up.
  21. Exactly. The only positive for the Saab over the 335i is that it's a GM. I'm sure the BMW still handles and drives better too.
  22. Nope, I drive a GTO. I pretty much avoid sedans.
  23. I'm still in disbelief that GM is actually going to make this. It is like an April Fools joke that just won't end. The grill is beyond hideous. I can't even give an opinion on the rest of the car, because I can't look past that grill. It makes me want to buy every one of them, and drive them all into a wall head on. At least it's a true Pontiac(sarcasm) It seems like to get a good car design from GM(cars, not trucks), it either has to be from either Holden, Opel, or Cadillac. Maybe this is just GM's plan to run Pontiac into the ground?
  24. I like it, but as stated above, I couldn't pick it over a 335i.
  25. That legacy eroded long long ago.
