  1. The Mustang will outsell both, but that doesn't make it a better car. I would choose the Camaro or the Challenger over the Mustang. These cars are really going to be putting some pressure on Ford.
  2. The more important standpoint is image, which I think is a very big deal. A manual on this car is more important than the sales figures or marketing data would lead you to believe.
  3. I want a convertible anyway, so I don't have to worry about the b pillar.
  4. Wow, 1/10 of a second in the quarter mile? The GTO even won in the figure eight. Their numbers are so similar(which I believe I stated, did I not?), the differences are negligible, a simple thing like tire choice could sway those numbers.
  5. Did you not see my lets wait and see comment? So lets wait and see shall we?
  6. This might be out before the Camaro, but the Camaro will destroy it sales and performance wise. I don't want to argue though, just wait and see :AH-HA_wink: And I'm sure my GTO will put up similar, if not better performance numbers compared to the Challenger. The G8 GXP might be getting a 430hp LS3 too. While applaud Chrysler for making these cars instead of trying to appeal to Avalon/Lucerne buyers, they are still only good, not great cars. Camaro/Impala/G8 are going to be great cars.
  7. I like the Solstice the least out of all the RWD Pontiacs. I'll take Holden designs any day.For that matter, I'll take Opel designs over REAL Pontiac designs too. The Sky looks a lot better.

    Crossings

Here's one from my home town.
  9. i-unit and i-swing? If you really want to copy Apple, just name it the i-chair.
  10. Looks like a cross between an Avalon, and a Mercedes. Nothing special.
  11. For some reason, I think it looks like pac-man ate an xB.
  12. Except they wont be selling THE company. It would probably be worth more broken into pieces at that point. The UAW better be careful.
  13. I think this works, but the second one needs to be worded a little differently. Instead of I'm not in the market but like what i see, I think it should just be "would consider"
  14. I actually don't want to. It's not that bad.
  15. Bad Choices, my answer didn't fit into any, except for domestic, Absolutely, own one, and happy with that decision, willing to do it again, since that is what I own. I would consider a select few Japanese cars, mostly only Nissan/Infinitis or certain Mazdas. For European, I would definately consider a lot of them except VW, but I don't own one, so my answer wasn't there.
  16. I agree, I was just thinking that.
  17. Only by people who hate Holden
  18. Try driving around in a GTO for a while. I used to love the red too, until I started driving the GTO. Now, I don't want to go back. It's not that shade of green at all. I'll take a picture of it.
  19. uh, the economy as a whole continues to grow. people find new jobs. you probably even found a better job than the textile company you worked at, have you not?
  20. I've never heard anyone say muscle cars are redneck. Not real muscle cars anyway. But that playboy playmate analogy makes me feel like I'm making the right choice by liking the G8 more. These Holdens are going to put Pontiac back on the map, and make it a viable performance brand. I feel like were entering a new era for Pontiac.
  21. I wish the interior more closely resembled the GTO. I like the GTO instrument panel better, and the green is a lot nicer than the red for the lighting, especially at night. I'm very happy to see the console mounted window switches stay though.
  22. Thank you Chrysler for kicking GM into gear so we can get these cars.
  23. AWD takes power to run it. For example, lets say you have a car with 500hp at the engine. That's about 425hp at the wheels with 15% loss.AWD would be more like 20-25% loss to the wheels. That would result in 375hp-400hp to the wheels, meaning a 25-50hp loss. So AWD increases weight, and decreases the amount of power put to the ground.
