2020 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Features A Solar Roof: Comments
USA-1 replied to William Maley's topic in Chicago Auto Show (CAS)
Been here since 2011 myself. Nice dip in 78 degree pool out in my backyard then back into nice climate controlled home. Love it! Mid June to mid Sept. is all of Monsoon season and worst of it, but keep telling people what you think, it's great for population control here. I would never live in the mundane frigid Winters, humid Summers Midwest. FTS as well.- 54 replies

BRRR!! ? Ya can keep the nasty rain and clouds 10 months out of the year (grew up in PNW) I love my warmth and sunshine 325+ days of the year compared to nasty FL humid heat it's a big difference trust me, people like my buddy in FL bitch about the high humidity. Only 2.5 months of high heat here, that's when you travel to San Diego or Del Mar even the PNW in July and August to see family and friends ?️ ? No thanks...? " freezing rain changing to snow...about 6 inches of snow so far over the ice. About 30 outside." Yeah sounds awesome LOL! Yeah keep telling people that's what it's like here we don't want anymore! I won't even post the beautiful pics I have of the NOT "dust and beige everything". That's why everybody and their dog is here right now...best weather in the country- 54 replies

Park a new 2020 Sierra or Silverado HD next to your older Silvy HD, they're a lot taller as well, all domestic makes are getting to be gigantic.

Yep, love the black chrome grille and smoked headlights.

That's why the Touareg is gone in here in the US, priced too high compared to competition. Didn't' sell well at all, solid SUV, but way overpriced. Audi Q7 is a slightly longer Cayenne platform, but doesn't share many if any body parts like Touareg/Cayenne did.
-
Touareg is gone in the US as of 2017 replaced by the Atlas. I'm talking about the '04 -'17 Touareg and '04 - '17 Cayenne which were identical mechanically and shared many body parts as well. It's why the Touareg was so expensive at $50K base MSRP and didn't sell well compared to the competition.

2020 Nissan Frontier Gains An Updated Powertrain: Comments
USA-1 replied to William Maley's topic in Chicago Auto Show (CAS)
This is what you get from a barely hanging on NIMOCO, a brand new 3.8L V6 that only has an additional 2 hp and 6 lb.-ft. than GM's class competitive 5 yr. old 3.6L V6. Basically identical output from a larger displacement NA V6. I had this SAE cert'd. (traditionally a lower output rating but more accurate) 308hp/275 lb.-ft. 3.6L LGZ truck version in a '17 Colorado 4x4 Z71, it's a strong high-output engine for it's size and proves it here. Nissan better hope they can sell more new Frontier's than this old one to compete with the class leading GM twins and Taco to try to help pull them out of their company wide abysmal sales numbers.- 13 replies

Yep, the VW Touareg was a Porsche Cayenne through and through, same chassis and AWD, VR6, 8 spd trans. Only difference was the front clip and rear taillights, sides were identical along with doors, mirrors, rear quarters, rear hatch as well. VW actually asked Porsche to build it for them well before they owned Porsche. Just facts I thought I would drop for y'all!

I think it's awesome, love the Bronze Metallic paint and the slick jeweled LED headlights. The interior is gorgeous, the dark color dash is my favorite with dark zebrano wood trim, although I would go with a slightly darker leather as the lighter cream colored leathers get stained from dyes that rub off from dark slacks or blue jeans. Bravo Caddy!! Link to MT write-up with much better pics inside and out. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/autos-luxury/2021-cadillac-escalade-this-is-what-the-600-badge-on-its-rear-end-means/ar-BBZFXPi#image=BBZGhz9|27 EV's are all about low end torque, 11,500 lb.- in. of torque.
