  1. My local Cadillac dealership was remodeled only a few years ago. Cadillac dealerships generally need to impress people and convince them that buying German is a really bad idea from the moment you step in to the moment you leave with a new Cadillac of your choice.
  2. OK, why can't they just buy the Lordstown plant after the UAW/GM contract expires on September 15th?
  3. Neither Nissan nor Toyota have a place in the truck market. Maybe Nissan will wisely leave the truck space here for the domestics.
  4. The Cadillac dealership nearest me is standalone and has been since it opened shop prior to 1973.
  5. On the car side (rather than the SAV side), I agree with you.
  6. Next five years will be a world of hurt if Tesla does not innovate and get its financial house in order.
  7. Close: ditch the 4 series and keep the 7 series. All of the rest can go bye-bye.
  8. Given that the Cadillac XT5 just had a mid-cycle upgrade for 2020, where is the upgrade for the Traverse/Enclave/Acadia?
  9. RAM still needs a midsize pickup because not everyone wants or needs a full sized pickup truck, regardless of price.
  10. GM still needs a real answer to the Palisade/Telluride twins STAT.
  11. And it still sells worse than its Japanese competitors in the same class.
  12. Because some dealers are total attention whores on a perennial search for more sales (and money)!
  13. Better reason of why all of what you said is true: Hyundai/KIA.
  14. Tell us how you really feel about anything Honda.
  15. Maybe, but there are a LOT of used cars and CUVs at MSRP of the new Versa that are just as good or better.
  16. Hmm. Interesting?. Who would buy a new Versa when you can buy a Kicks, or better yet, a Rogue?
  17. It's official. MINI is now a boat anchor for BMW. Only BMW's SAVs (X6 aside) are largely keeping the lights on for the Bavarian Motor Works.
  18. WOW, a lot of red ink here at Infiniti. Only the QX50/80 are up by double digits. Why make cars (and the QX30) when it seems nobody wants to buy them?
  19. It is sad that color choices are now charged extra, as if it costs them extra to paint it a different color (NOT!). All external color choices should be 100% FREE.
  20. Sedans in general are on the wrong end of a smack down. Hence why all the growth is in the GL class.
  21. Why does Smart and Mini still sell cars here?
  22. 1-3: totally true. Imagine if all GM sedans were priced about $5000 less than current MSRP. GM could undercut Hyundai/KIA in ten minutes. 4: EVs may not be mainstream YET, but ask me again in 2030 when they are truly ready for prime time.
  23. RIP to the manual transmission. Died because of lack of interest by car buyers.
  24. Wow. A rare case of private ownership going wrong after being sold by the Commonwealth.
  25. What GM needs is a new RWD Impala to take on that KIA Stinger. . . . or at least the 300/Charger twins. I would rather NOT see all the (non-Cadillac) sedans disappear, but GM is simply following demand.
