  1. Could be photoshopped, but here are some display pics: http://www.autoweek.com/files/specials/200...ss/pages/01.htm

  4. They will be FWD "based", but notice they both have "4x4" badges on the back of them. I don't if that just means AWD, or an actual 4x4 setup.
  5. I think it's their attempt at trying to make it look like a coupe......because deep down, now matter how hard they try to deny it, young people still prefer coupes to 4-doors!
  6. The Patriot and Compass will be built on the same platform as the Dodge Caliber. http://www.detnews.com/2005/autosinsider/0.../A06-272616.htm
  7. Yeah, but then Toyota will come out with this.......oh wait, nobody will care though because Detroit automakers eat babies, and Toyota's run on hugs and rainbows:
  8. I don't know what it is......but I think this thing is sweet! B)
  9. Additional shots of both concepts: http://www.auto-motor-sport.de/d/90944/d_a...w_detail?skip=0
  10. Nothing similar but overall shape.
  11. Nope, I was gonna say the same thing!
  12. I don't think anyone would, except maybe that little Sprite guy, Thirst!
  13. This Dodge Raider: or this one?:  Had to do it!
  14. The VUE?? C'mon. Which one looks more like what a girl would drive?
  15. Unlike Ferrari, Jeep is a volume player. If they got $150K + for every Jeep, then yeah, I think they should be all badass off-roaders.......but the reality of it is that Jeep needs to sell a whole bunch of $20-40K vehicles to just stay busy......and only so many people want/need a trail rated off-roader. The reason why I could care less about the soft-roaders and AWD ralley-like vehicles, is because Jeep will still have all of their Trail Rated vehicles, if you want one. And if sales of these soft-roaders help keep Jeep in the black, then we will get to see even more badass off-roaders. Jeep has been a curse for whoever has owned it, just for the fact that all of its vehicles were required to be fully capable off-road machines. You can only sell so many of those. Congrats to DCX for breaking that rule......and maybe even the curse!
  16. I believe that is how many they have added to the total since the beginning of August.....so that number in the () would be how many recalls in the moth of August.

  18. All you have to do is wait then. There will be many Jeep's based off the new Wrangler. There will be a pickup (Gladiator), a 2 door (probably SWB and LWB), and a 4door (probably LWB and fixed top).
  19. Yeah, but who the hell wants to buy a Jeep with three rows of seats and only two doors?
  20. Yeah, and imagine if Porsche started making SUV's and 4-doors??.......oh wait.
  21. Thousands cheaper than this:
  22. One good thing is that it doesn't appear to be just a complete rebadge of the Caliber. Sure there are similarities, but seems to be different enough:
  23. I think the Compass Rallye looks sweet. It looks like a mean little AWD Rally car. I think this will be Jeep's entry in WRC. With the SRT-4 powertrain, this thing should easily compete against the EVO and STi.
  24. WOO HOO.......75 new jobs!!!!! What a major announcement. Let's all buy a Toyota Tundra!!
