  1. While I don't love it or hate it, it's looks much better in "normal" (not grainy) pictures:
  2. Maybe for the same reason why there is a 140 HP 1.8L available in the new Civic, or that DCX's 2.0L has 150 HP compared to Chevy's larger 145 HP 2.2L. http://www.allpar.com/mopar/world-engine.html
  3. Outdated platform?? The last Durango came out in 2004. :AH-HA_wink: There will be a new Durango......and most likely a new Aspen, in 2008. For now Chrysler can spruce up the current Durango with minimal investment, and sell some expensive Chrysler versions in the meantine.
  4. I'm not overly impressed, but there's nothing wrong with. If it's based on the current Durango, then how different could it be?
  5. The Challenger (and other cars) for work.......and the Betty's for home!! (well that sounds a little gross, but you get the idea)
  6. NIIIICE!!  That "Walpapers" section is going in my bookmarks! :metal:
  7. Awesome article on how the Challenger concept came to be: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Featu...cleId=108756#38 Even has some drawings of concepts that didn't make it.......and a video! B)
  8. Yeah, but beyond those minor things.....the Gladiator is pretty spot on!
  9. Pretty bad......way too PT Cruiser-ish. But maybe it's a heritage design?.....I don't know enough about old Jeeps. The rest of the interior looks good though.
  10. What do you mean "not quite"? The only difference is the bumper, some different colored trim, and the projector headlights (which nobody should have expected to make the production version).
  11. Want a better picture of it?? Just look at the front half of this (it's the same):
  12. HA ha  ......I like how people are saying that they liked the concept, but don't like this.........and it's EXACTLY the same! I'm not expecting people on a GM forum to be in love with it.....but c'mon  : :AH-HA_wink:
  13. http://www.allpar.com/forums/index.php?act...ype=post&id=549 Scan credit to E8502 on Allpar.com forums Thread: http://www.allpar.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=70858
  14. Anything looks better than silver on this car......so far:
  15. Looks better in black: Front Pic Rear Pic Interior Pic I like how eveyone is judging it based on cell phone pictures. I bet Jessica Simpson doesn't even look hot in most cell phone pictures. I haven't seen one in person yet, but someone on Allpar said that it looks lower in person. I think it looks alright if your looking for a small utility hatchback. I'm guessing that there will be another Dodge vehicle based on this platform, that will more resemble the SRT-4 (Neon), and probably be a sporty coupe. As of now, I would prefer the Jeep Compass or Patriot.
  16. I'd like to see an AWD Vibe or any Subaru get itself out of that ditch. For all we know, the guy could have driven off of the road to see if he could get back on, or may have pulled off because they had to while testing something? I'm more impressed with the Compass now, than I was before seeing the pictures.

    .....

That's probably why they aren't going with the manumatic trans. Who wants to shift their own minivan?? As for styling.....I don't think there's a whole lot you can tell from this spy pics. About all you can tell is that it won't look as retarded as the Nissan Quest.
  18. Nope! Both are on the Caliber (Mitsubishi Lancer) platform. The Liberty (and Nitro) will be getting slightly larger. http://www.allpar.com/model/jeep/patriot.html
  19. Well, at least it will have a useable back seat........which is perfectly fine with me. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. Actually, the spy pics look like a hybrid of both the Patriot and Compass. Compass hood, Patriot wheels and ride height........unless the non-Rallye Compass sits up higher, or has more ground clearence than the Rallye version.
  21. This thing looks pretty capable for a soft-roader: http://www.americancarfans.com/spyphotos.c...oid/6060103.001
  22. More angles of the Imperial (with some more Challenger pics): http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...E/51229003/1004
  23. More tasty pics: http://forums.autoweek.com/thread.jspa?for...=25284&tstart=0 with the Imperial: http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...E/51229003/1004
