  1. Touché, salesman.
  2. So Toyota got lazy and cheap?

    .....

I thought it was to be built on the new Lancer platform, all stretched and such?
  4. Ew.
  5. They still own roughly 3 percent, right? So would that stop them from continuing on the way they've been for this long?
  6. Appears it was just a confusion between the Tundra and T100.
  7. I have to disagree with you on this one. The domestic trucks have always been class-leading, and the new 900s and F-series are only going to up the ante. As you can see by the GMT-900 SUVs, GM will not be resting on its laurels, while we know Ford won't be so willing to give up its title of best selling full-size truck.
  8. Oh come now, that wasn't called for. It's a valid question seeing as how they did partner for some stuff and GM does have a 5.7L V8 in their full sizers. No more personal attacks pleeze, k? thx.
  9. 3 years is my understanding.
  10. It appears I'm in the majority in thinking it looks stupid as hell. Oh, I'm 20, too, BTW. Yeah.
  11. I could see that, just like those new CTS spy shots that recently surfaced.
  12. At that price point, it looks like the G5 won't be much more than the Torrent is to the Equinox. Say bye bye to those dreams of it only being a supercharged coupe. Great news on the Buicks, though!
  13. Now I don't own it, haven't even driven one or played around with all the features. But so far my only complaint is that front knee room isn't all it could be (or is in the '95-'99). My 6'5" brother-in-law sat in it at the CAS, and his knees hit the dash--even with the seat all the way back. That didn't happen when he drove my dad's '99, or even when he sat in the Murano. Strange, seems like an easy fix (it was fine for me at 6' even, though). Otherwise, it really is an amazing truck.
  14. I saw it at the CAS, and I'll say this: It's not as bad. I still like the current interior about equal or better, though.
  15. Okay, so when did Toyota overtake GM as the world's largest automaker...?
  16. I see a ton of S3X in the front end, and it's quite a bit too minivan-ish for my tastes, but I think it's nice.
  17. I agree, but she was speaking on public perception, not reality.
  18. Considering how long GMC has been around in its current incarnation (50+ years) and recent surveys indicating that people do in fact look upon GMC as more "professional grade" than Chevy (and that people of greater wealth purchase GMC trucks over even Cadillacs), I'd venture to say GMC does, in fact have a more than short term purpose. (Since when has 50 years been short term, anyway?)
  19. I think he was speaking on more passionate, outstanding products with good driving dynamics and nice interior design/fit-&-finish, not so much a Kappa roadster for each brand.
  20. Are we to assume under $26k??
  21. If I'm not mistaken, the convertible is only getting the 3.9.Edit: Nevermind, it gets the 3.5 and 3.9 (GT and GTP).
  22. I thought it was already confirmed dead?
  23. The 900s, as far as I can remember.
