  1. Pretty much agree 99% Guy. Except now it appears that the Holden VE/Zeta platform will be around for the forseeable future. It now IS the new Global RWD architecture.
  2. I really like the front end in that drawing.
  3. Forget that guy. He's a nitwit.
  4. The car version of Lambda would have been Chi.
  5. Would you say the quad coupe is the front runner...or even has a chance?
  6. I was shocked by it's size. Frankly I was expecting something about the size of a GTO. It never even occured to me that the Challenger might end up being 300C sized. This car is a fullsized coupe, in the same vein as a Polara hardtop......certainly NOT a ponycar. Not saying if that's good or bad, just the way it is. I'm interested to see what it looks like in the flesh next week. Let's hope GM is MUCH more sensitive with size and weight with the Camaro's execution though.
  7. I like the exterior alot, not quite sure about the interior. Wish I could use my GM points on one.

  9. Too bad none of those 'celebrities' bothered to attend any one of the four murder victims' funerals. I am beyond disgusted.

Or.... Give me a seat because I can manipulate your stock price. BTW, am I the only a$$hole that bought GM at $64 per share?

Maybe Kerkorian's trying to send GM a message.
  12. It's not a matter of how ever many of us vote, turbo. Pontiac wants a new GTO. It's all a matter of making a compelling business case for it. Maybe the Holden VZ paradigm, needs to be re-thought....or maybe not. Maybe a successful GTO needs to be a different configuration. This is all being panned out.
  13. Exactly.
  14. Seems to have lost abit of it's edge.
  15. With your comments that there is nothing wrong with GM's product, it's the marketing that's at fault......it's too bad that you didn't start your campaign during Roger Smith's reign. He would have probably made you vice chairman. Or not, but you guys would definitely have been on the same page.
  16. I've been reading your posts for months now, and months ago I even spoke to you, just to find out where you're coming from. It's obvious that GM's got problems. We may or may not agree with some or all of the decisions that GM management makes....Lord knows that I don't. But what I get from you and your posts is, that this is not so much about GM getting back on track. It's more about you being pissed off that they didn't pay you big money for your overly simplistics and generally inaffectual plan. That's my opinion.
  17. HellifIknow. "Sigma-lite", "Zigma", whatever you want call it, died afew months. It's all Zeta now.
  18. Nor mine.
  19. How do you know that I'm not an insider. Here, I'll prove it. When the bird sneezes into the hat, what does it mean? Just kidding. Actually I think Hogans Heroes had some interesting info recently.
  20. Don't forget..... The sky is very high.... John has a long moustache.... The chair is against the door..... What does that mean? Hell if I know. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.
  21. There are some things I like. Some things I don't like.
  22. Damn! I picked the wrong 5 hours to be away from my computer.
  23. I believe Kappa's suspension components are pretty optimized for a car which weighs no more than Kappa.
  24. I don't know, nor will I speak for him. But the current Kappa architecture WILL NOT support anything but a two seater.
  25. I don't know. There has been some loose talk of a second line. But I don't think a final decision has been made, one way or the other. I don't know if GM ever plans on converting it over to C-Flex either.....it's possible. As far as Kappa - as we know it today - the architecture CANNOT support a back seat in a production car with a real fuel tank. It simply cannot. A real 2+2 production Kappa would have to be essentially, an ALL NEW platform. I was/am a HUGE fan of the platform that Holden put together for the Torana concept (as a basis for Camaro I thought it perfect), and I lobbied hard for it within GM. And it had some influential fans, believe me, even at the VERY TOP. It also had some enemies however, and combined with the cost of an all new architecture (which it would have been), was enough to make sure it never developed. As far as I know, it's deader than a doorknob now. Pity.
