  1. William Maley Editor/Reporter - CheersandGears.com March 30, 2012 Next week at the New York Auto Show, Lincoln will show the new MKZ and its 15.2 square foot, retractable glass roof. Yes, you read this correctly. According to Lincoln, the roof takes takes ten seconds to either open or close the roof thanks to two motors and parallel rails located on the outer edges of the roof. Once opened, the opening is two-feet deep and two and a half feet wide. When closed, the glass roof is rated at SPF 100 to avoid passengers being sunburned. As for safety, the roof is reinforced with a aluminum and boron steel frame. Source: Autoblog View full article

  3. William Maley Editor/Reporter - CheersandGears.com March 30, 2012 The Fiat 500 lineup is currently made up of three models; the regular 500, 500C, and the new 500L crossover. Autocar is reporting there could be a fourth model on its way. The fourth model is expected to be the replacement to the Fiat Sedici (Suzuki SX4) and carry the nameplate of the 500X. The 500X will combine the styling of a SUV and hatchback. The 500X will use Fiat's small vehicle architecture with the 500L and Punto and come equipped with the 900cc TwinAir unit, a 1.4L four-cylinder, and a diesel. It will come with either front-wheel or four-wheel drive. The 500X is expected to be also sold as a Jeep in North America and China. The 500X will come out sometime next year with the Jeep model following a year after. Source: Autocar View full article
