  1. I get it Evok...........The color completely destroys the truth. trust me
  2. Sorry - I know you did not steal it. You still aren't helping.I am pissed for reasons mentioned in the PM I sent...
  3. I think his colorization is completely f*cked up and ruins the image of what it really looks like. It might be wise to edit that image out asap- It doesn't belong to you! It's not yours to share....What your'e doing hurts GM
  4. I know exactly what you mean! I have felt ghosts while browsing for parts, and thought of all those you loved and cherished certain cars... Bought new, shined and loved....then they rot. and what about those cigarettes with lipstick in the ashtray of a totalled car....hmmmm
  5. No ...Just those who enter without any legal documents, then start demandingrights that are due to Americans who work hard and pay taxes. Total bull$h!. If you don't like being an illegal in America, get the F*CK out.... Don't take they day off and have a demonstration.... Clog our streets with stupid banners. Speak English, follow the laws, pay the taxes, or git.
  6. OK sounds like a good plan ....maybe you really are a super genious....
  7. Oh and another thing! I love $h!ty cars... there is a very special feeling you get from buying a $h! box for a couple hundred....and fixing a few things, and then it runs awesome for thousands of miles! ask Sixty8. I bought a leaky caprice for $100 once and cut off the top with a sawzall. I loved that thing for a couple years and sold it for a profit.
  8. Plan the plan, then work the plan. No one is gonna beam down a load of cash ... My Dad said "Sure you can get a car" after I got a job, saved enough money to buy the car and insurance....and I did. I was the baby of a family of 8 kids, My Dad was broke. I think people that are "given" cars don't value them as much as if they earned them, and purchased their own.... Likewise, parents that give cars to their children are in some ways doing them a disservice by enabling them to be less independant...and rely on others too much. If you want a cool car, make the plan and then do it. I'm not being mean, just practical.
  9. So true. Save your money. I have tried K&Ns...they work great for a few months. After they are dirty, it's a lost cause. That oil and dirt does not come out.... Your money is better spent on new air filters! You can get 5 for the cost of 1 K&N. So sorry, 4000lbs + 305 = bad news. You need a lighter car, and at least a 350.... before you even think about a TH400 and a rear end. the 400 would also need a different crossmember and likely drive shaft changes too. It's not the same length as what you have now.
  10. I drove the HT conv.... and really liked it. The interior is kick ass, and by the way, is rated higher in initial quality than the Accord and Camry( J.D. Powers) . The fit and finish on the I/P is first rate - sweet black and chrome w/ very tight gaps... love it.
  11. If it were mine, I would pull the seats, console, and carpet, totally dry out that beeeotch for a week. I can get Service manual copies for that stuff,....just in case you don't go that warranty route. I'm really sorry that happened!

  13. He is probably one of the funniest guys on the planet!!!! Highly underrated....The coolest part is all the unscripted, off the cuff stuff he pulls out. I think he's on too late for most, and doesn't get nearly enough recognition.
  14. #1- Fiberglass Trends Cheetah? #2- Cheetah G.T.R. Coupe #3- Kaiser ______ #5- Kaiser______? I Dunno -my brain is toast.
  15. While at Roush today, I couldn't help noticing dozens of Solstices/Solsti ? All lined up waiting for god knows what...Something's going on .... and everybody I tried to ask said they had no idea. Anybody hear what the deal is?
  16. Plus, it makes you smarter!
  17. Pull out the rear seat cushions. I once found an original bill of sale, build sheet, and Alabama license plate in a "69 Chevelle under there.

  20. My favorite cop car: 502 power,3" exhaust...From my city of Berkley They run it on Woodward all summer. I love Woodward.
  21. YES!!! Man I hate incorrect corrections. Clearly, Schuby87 and Camino are in the know. Thanks for the kind words about my toy.
  22. 1: Feel no embarassement when you are helping others. Just say it. 2: Same concept. Good people communicate with and care about others, I would wait `til he at least had some pants and say- Sorry if I'm being too nosy, I couldn't help noticing..... If he's crabby, his prob not yours! What if you save his life- Karma is real.
  23. Everything is compromised by everything else.... Let me know when you find the perfect blend for everyone.
  24. I asked a guy named Richard... to show me and he did it while everyone watched, while the top was down. You can load some stuff, like pizza boxes or garment bags in between the stored roof panels with the trunk open. I don't make stuff up...I saw it. I Guess you guys will have to wait til you get your hands on a real one. No, you can't load suitcases or golf clubs... whatever. Dealers don't know $h!. I will post a picture asap
  25. Nice ride! Any sticker comes off easy with heat....(heat gun or blow drier) warm it up real good, slip under it with a razor blade and pull slow, keeping the heat on it. Goo gone will eliminate any residual gorilla snot.
