  1. sad to see the HV V6's die.... still got the lucerne though, right? 1 more year, 1 more year!
  2. while the engine is surprising in it's not a 200hp one. it should be better, if it can do 35mpg+, super...that's a big part of this market's target. everything else seems kinda status qua for a new model to "evolve with"
  3. not animated, but how about spider man pics? http://classic-icon.com/spiderman.html LOL
  4. nice article, assuming in that time span everything else is relatively static, which almost certainly won't happen. in 10 years if they make it $10K cheaper, they'll be lucky if it's still $40k.
  5. so... monday actual details will come out? i guess debuts means not everything is told. hehe
  6. assuming these are the boxes. very cool! http://www.cpuforever.com/showthread.php?tid=380
  7. incidente internacional!!!
  8. Did it look like the one posted in the GMC section, with exposed rocker panel mounting holes, or did this one actually have the extension panels installed? Here... this is the one I'm talking about: actually... i might be wrong, ... thinking back it was an acadia. still pretty new, and $$$$, right?
  9. i don't think it's bad... but the redline popped out at me as something "sporty drivers" will laugh at world wide. the gains over the one now are ~20%, yes?
  10. denali terrain. just a few days ago
  11. haven't read all of this, .. anyone mention that the 2011 'bu only has the 2.4L available?
  12. i bet with a tad of tuning and DI added to this engine it could hit 44 on the EPA test....? my car is rated at 29 hway.. i've gotten 36+ once before.

    Philadelphia project?
  14. rapid change of speed kills people. hehe should just be fair weather speed and bad weather speed. i know on "back roads" i can go ~15mph over the suggested speed just fine on sharp turns (unless it's a <30mph turn) in nice weather.
  15. mine, usually. when it sits long enough it will be accurate till it starts sloshing around
  16. i'm betting both are 3.8Ls the 99 is a GT. i'd go with the newer one if it's in your budget. should be safer, better reliability... the 99 might have the gas level sensor problem mine has, which only showed up after ~130K or so. the 99 might be easier to work on though....
  17. Hybrid drives where it's one unit, or hybrid setups involving more than one hard drive? My work desktop (self-built) has a 90gb SSD OS drive + RAID10 array (4x750gb Caviar Black). one unit, like the seagate momentus XT.
  18. if it's doors... i don't know where the triggers for those are, but you can turn the car to on and open and close each door to see if it's those... with the ignition on. play with the seat belts see if it has a faulty position.
  19. A bit creepy..... isn't that from an evil dead movie? (army of darkness counts too)

What's political about saying you'll see fewer Nazis watching re-runs of the Nuremburg trials than if you watch Glenn Beck? It's not a comment on his politics. The man uses more footage of the Nazis and Nazi propaganda than the History Channel. when? i don't see any of the typical 1/2 hour i catch after watching jeopardy. unless you're commenting on how few nazis were tried at nuremburg... on wiki "Some 200 German war crimes defendants were tried at Nuremberg" that's really not that many.

see. talking about him becomes political. i don't know if it's a joke, or if they're serious.
  22. not possible as is, at least if it stays the "halo" vehicle
  23. the video's still reminds me of I am legend
  24. several small radiators could do better too? unless the fans were just around.. buying those wouldn't be THAT cheap...
