hopefully some color and a bit of chrome can spice it up. just try to remain optimistic nzr. looks promising... that's all i'm saying right now
  7. yes, using msn autos, it says the ss coupe is almost 200lbs lighter than the base ls coupe. anyone know why?
  8. if tons of people(thinking about getting a mitsu) knew about this, prolly would scare them away, when any competition leaves here, the other companies have to soak up those sales. and if they were looking at mitsu's, most prolly wouldn't look at gm, only thing i kinda liked about mitsu was their interesting MIVEC engines... anyway....
  9. if they add steering wheel controls that'd be fine... but as a whole.. it's still WTF Toyota? looks like the passenger gets "screwed" as far as thier side of the cabin looks. trying to make the driver feel like the light side and who's the passenger, "PHHHHHHHH, Luke, Pumphfffffffffff, I am your father" the ergonomics better be insane because this looks so stupid, "hey! what happened to the other half of the dash...oh..wait..this could work" -worker "looks good to me"-designer "put it in all the tundra's"- management
  10. great place to start on things to come!

  13. be interesting if they never announced a new model (or showed anyone, be it GM or TOYota) until it hit the lots...wonder what the reaction would be in the press, let alone the public...

  16. http://www.media.gm.com/servlet/GatewaySer...n=2&docid=26381 "DETROIT -- Discovery Channel and GM are taking viewers behind the closely guarded doors of GM Design and into the minds of the automaker's innovative, forward thinking designers as part of a new, four-part documentary. Set to debut in 2007, the Discovery Channel program will examine the future of automotive engineering - from design and alternative fuel sources to advanced materials and in-vehicle electronics." hopefully this will be great and even show some future vehicles, to bad it's not anytime soon well... be great whne it does show up.

  20. my boss has a camry, only drove it one day, and this is what i observed - brake pedal seemed unresponsive - hard to take off gradually (no linearity in the gas pedal) - glossy radio + noon time = huge glare! a friend has a sentra, seems really loud on the interstate.
  21. aren't those holes so you can pull the radio out? i am pretty sure of that.
