  1. i can agree, needs alittle more differentiation. i like to play guess the headlights / car model at night on the highway.
  2. personally i love the headlight design of the mid 80's regals, something about twin headlights in that package/chrome/marker lights look powerful and refined to me. maybe it's bias on my part, but my first car was an 83 regal wagon
  3. only been badly drunk once, and i don't remember going from one house to another that night, but was awake to puke(under a bush)and walk w/ a friend to the house that was providing the night (to sleep)
  4. those would only looks nicer on a t/c ss cobalt. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. what if they upgrade the 2.8 w/ DI turbo'd and then it'll make 300hp...oh wait... the 3.6 will do that.. the turbo just gives it a very nice torque curve, of course, but if it was given DI "plain" it might beable to replace a car or 2's 3.5L, maybe. maybe the next lacrosse or aura's base engine.... eh?

    new Rivera

nice, i guess i missed that the first time..
  8. very nice, I'd consider the same if i had $ to buy a car, oh and i had to buy one that has to be the best color for that car IMHO, personally, i'd be interested in what kinda MPG you get since it's rated so low it seems.
  9. nice topic, more candor can only bring this forum better things

    new Rivera

zeta, just to keep the price decent.

    W-body questions

nice color, just check blue book see if the price seems resonable. nice looking car
  12. doesn't the aura have a ~224hp 3.5L base engine right? that's ~13 hp over the impala, so can they (re)tune the 3.9L for more like 250 easily if they wanted? or did gm just move the torque up the powerband to have a HO 3.5L for saturn?
  13. the rainer is going away with the 'vous, being replaceed by the enclave, it is official, just fyi. the 3.5 in the lacrosse, i'd rather see a fully tuned 3.6L opt, but the 3.9L w/ afm be the base engine. maybe "portholes" on the 3.6L too?
  14. thx, anything specific? i'd love to fix up a wagon like i had, maybe some ls4 in it, oh and at least a 4 speed ... just make it a sleeper or something made tons of memories with it. mine had the 3.8L (remanufactured) w/ 3speed, what'd yours have? i read yours on the site, i understand that the way buick's going it would work well being grouped in together w/ gmc and pontiac, but i do hope they fully thought out going the other way and just give them a more well rounded line up, aka a zeta "riviera" (before changing the lucerne over) and something aimed more for an entry vehicle that still fits very well in the buick line up, but i do realize some limits the epII lacrosse will have to deal with. totally agree about talking about product more, but i guess the sponsored golf tournaments seem to come so quickly in succesion shortened this post since wildcat's post is above.
  15. what i wrote "Sir, I'm only 23, but my first car i had to drive was the 83 regal wagon. That car had been in the family for one year less than it's full life, but I loved it. It was the only car like it anywhere I drove it. It had "quirks" and character by that time. losing it a few years ago in a wreck made me hope to own another buick sometime. I love to see the lucernce on the road, but was disappointed by what it lacked from the promised 6speed and such. The lacrosse, i still like to see them on the road, but really hope it can be even better when you release more info for the Super, and the next iteration. The enclave looks very promising, and I hope it's even bigger of a hit than the 'vous and rainier combined. Please continue the "Buick renaissance" that started truely with the lucerne, and I feel you do need a vehicle aimed much more at the younger than target buyers, something in more the spirit of the Grand National. I do have hopes that Buick can start creating more vehicles that are very "Buick", a pleasure to drive, and still offer more to bring in new customers and once buick fans. Thank you and do your best to restore Buick's appeal to more people."
  16. 2 speed front end? just had too.... like some trucks have in a differential?
  17. but then you'd be paying tax on the parts too... just wanted to say that, ah, interstate commerce!

    07 PACIFICA

that's just a little more torque than the 4.3 vortec yeah...but it is also 60hp more too depending on the power curves, this looks like it isn't much better than the 3.6L. prolly a good boost for the vehicle, for those that actually tow anything with it
  20. i love the 80's redal grills... well...~82- 87
  21. nice, but would be better in a 2 seater
  22. depending on your tastes..a 'bu "classic" might work well, or a ~late 90s -2002 century might be affordable, yes, no 4 cylider mpg but still nice
  23. that apollo looks like a 240Z did it to a porsche.... but still looks cool
  24. there a website to check that out too?
  25. holding my judgement till i see "Snakes on a Plane" it's just going to be horribly hilarious. what about monty pythons "quest for the holy grail" COME ON!!!! or "american beauty", or "big fish"
