  1. corvette towing a jet ski (on a trailer)... yeah there are worse things though..
  2. there are even reports that the missles that failed from the test were aimed at hawaii. if N.K. keeps attempting these tests, things will not look good for them in the near future.
  3. if that's just a mule..ok, but they got the rear light's wrong on the chop compared to the camo'd one. but the chop uses dts' rear styling alot more... all i'm saying right now
  4. i just preffer the ones that "hide" when not in use. the only good thing about hood nipples are when you want you wet down bird crap first so it doesn't smear a ton.
  5. too bad it's misslabled... it is kinda sad, the commercial.
  6. how about comet on hard to get off bugs and road "grime" off the front and lower plastic around the tires
  7. for real good reviews of tvs, robert heron at least used to work for pc magazine and reviewed all thier hdtv's that went though their labs. might be a good resource for finding what you need / want... happy hunting

    larger atlas'

will the larger atlas 4 and 5 cyliders mean a larger 6, more to about 4.4L? and would this make closer to the tune of 310hp and roughly 290ft-lbs? factoring DI in, would this make the base v-8 ( 4.8L ) not needed at all? other than the silverado and other gmt 900's, any other possibilities of this engine configuration? any insider have any info along these lines?
  11. i said plasma just for couple reasons, space, they're much better than lcd's in terms of contrast and color, and progressive display v crts. on the otherhand, a crt could be the way to go till next year when the SED tvs should be out,if you're not familiar w/ this, it's all the positives of crt, but very thin, maybe as much as 1/3 less energy used than a plasma, and COULD undercut the other technologies price per inch above 40". SED uses an electron emitter for each color of each pixel, meaning no backlight needed (LCD) and contrast ratios, with HDR supported, towards the millions. http://www.i4u.com/article3233.html
  12. nice, like to see that in the mag, but i'm not a subscriber hahaha, no money form me!
  13. that's hilarious!
  14. had to say lower heat... in "swamp east" missouri, just get used to it, find what shade you can and hope for some wind my "comfort zone" is between ~60 and ~low 80's with casual atire on
  15. happy birthday guys!
  16. http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,1980315,00.asp geeky stuff i find cool about the movie http://www.linux-watch.com/news/NS6281055297.html full txt of previous link
  17. saw it, loved it. pixar is so great to even think of every detail they can, even the backgounds tons of great personalities pulled in for the voices. just a fun fact, they supposedly used tons of linux boxes to process each frame like 5x faster than it would've taken otherwise, like instead of a few hours per frame , it just took 1 hour per frame of the movie. wonder what pixar has coming down the pipes next

    aura 3.5 v 3.9L

yeah, but...but...but... it hasn't been announced right? and it's 270Hp is aftermarket anyway I took it as just a concept when the "official" changes were put up on here. maybe it'll be a "secret" option later in the year? wonder how truely noticable that boost in power would be? back to the real question...what's keeping gm from making it a 250hp or so engine instead of just the ~233-242hp ...just "production limitations" aka "regulations" or bean counters?
  19. thanks guys. went to go see "Cars", i'd go see it again if friends were interested, it was really good though. went out w/ some friends tonight play some pool/darts/photohunt. kinda hard to get something together on a THURSDAY... nos, if you ever poped out of MY cake, you better be driving your present through it 23... time marches on!!! or runs off in some occasions thx again.

    aura 3.5 v 3.9L

ah... but you forgot about the "official" release of the 07 g6 specs, gtp has the 3.6 w/ the 6speed auto.

  22. IMHO that's quite a bad ass looking car that is. (considering what else is available at the moment)

pao.... unless i missed something...where have you been...? only the gt gets the 3.9, how could that put out more than the gtp's 3.6? (stock of corse)

  25. pretty sure i saw one while in southern Ill.
