  1. ...gullwing to the max!!!!!! wow.
  2. so is it the 4cylinder or v6?
  3. i've seen at least one on XP.... on my system... your ram prolly came w/ a life time warranty... or buy one that's the same and send the dead one back asus mobo, 2600+ XP proc, ocz psu, 2x512 mushkin ram, SATAs 160gb hitatchi and 250gb seagate, dvd-rom and one burner,...used to have my 9600 AIW in but uped to a x800pro, and a wifi card... never given me expensive($ or time) problems other than crashes in civ4 for not enough V.ram
  4. i still saw a commercial about that, a ford commercial, the other day... they need to spend $ to fix that
  5. very nice, but i'm getting a porsche, corvette, ferrari feel from it... but, then again, nothing is new...

i think it's possible.. if they think we'll run out in 40 years...shows how much they THINK they know about how this planet works... like we'll know everything about this planet anytime soon ~ our life times.
  7. a tax would make it statiscally higher... right?.... no it's a never ending cycle till something else truely replaces gas, as in not in car collectors lives'...
  8. unless they pull up next to you and see the ,probably, 2 nice sized exhausts, with a much bigger rumble than the stock ones lol
  9. no, it's prolly not that light... my 99 monte's 3.1 gets 19 -20 typically and i rarely drive it hard.... hardly ever above 3k rpm.. more like ~2.4K and i know how to keep it w/ just enough gas at 30 mph to keep the trans locked and moving at little under 1500rpm even up some hills.. not sure how the aura's geared, but i bet one could get 21..maybe 22 out of it around town.... talking the 3.5L right?

    welcome.
  11. by the pictures... these look like they'll replace the smaller building around where the first ones stood.... hence the memorial in the wooded area... these new ones will take over what the first ones did, and do it in a better buiding, better built, better material, more efficient... wether you like the design or not.... eh, it'll be the new skyline about 4 years after they're done
  12. sure has a lot of cooling intakes... kinda...this the chevy "minivan"?
  13. dang, wonder why 2 cam engines didn't come up in this other topic YAY!... hope for true dual vvt on ohv engines... never new that much about the xv8 GM made , just knew that it existed and was small, awesome!!
  14. heard something new, any truth to this?.... gm and ford use motorcraft, and other cables not to thier specs can make the engine not run well... a cousin change the wires on his ranger while ago, and runs rough if every gear, worst in overdrive and under hard load... ?
  15. the newest are 777s, and i don't know if they're out in any big numbers...
  16. kinda thought so too, for a sec.. that's just how the setup the sfi sytem... at least it looks very similar to the one on my '99 3.1L... w/ 7 years more of refinement in it's placement.

    Check this out

razoredge>.... as in real stock car racing.... that be great to see come back.... just roll cages added (yes), and maybe body kits?
  18. you mean how the exhaust rocker looks and the support for it? .... i'd say that's kinda minor, but ok.yay, higher inlet velocities, almost the same as 4 valve, while having less turbulence on the exhaust stroke..
  19. well... this engine has to be from 96 or newer... the alternator tells..if this is coming out ~ 2-3 years... hopefully it'll "trickle down" very, very fast... be great on the 4.8 or 5.3L s.... and i bet some people would like to see the 3.9L have this for towards 270hp... (i'd be included) and of course... the bigger v8s would crush the competition (of today) if the power gains are true.
  20. displacement wise, any guesses on the size?... i'll guess around 4.0L or less
  21. was this quote dated someplace?
  22. but also make them more expensive.... at least a little....
  23. looks like they tried to bring back the 20's, and how modern they made it, kinda doesn't work that well.... the buick blackhawk is a much better styled car in that respect
  24. very cool, but the visability issues LOOK like it be troublesome.....? looks like the head rest is molded into the roof.... cool
  25. "old"..as in a more definte period please....if it is an old concept... hopefully something came out of it and can be coming down the pipe in a couple years....
