  1. Yes my gripes center around the materials used and the design of the interior, not the layout itself. GM has some of the best ergonomics in the industry. I also agree with the value of the Bonneville, but is it worth all the grey plastic? IMO, no. If it had brushed aluminum and maybe some faux carbon fiber accents, it'd be great.
  2. I liked the original exterior styling of the 2000 Bonneville, but the interior blew. No way anyone would pay that much for an interior like that!
  3. Yea, Rach goes tanning to get that red tone to her. She's a hottie for sure.
  4. It really doesn't matter where the fuel filler is, it's where the gas tank is. Fuel doesn't stay in the fuel filler, it goes to the tank. I'm not a fan of this location for the filler either, but it isn't unsafe by any means.
  5. Oh, the girls are pretty decent out here, not gonna lie...but those two actually are from my HS class back in Indianapolis.
  6. Sorry BV, but you get riled up too easily. I'm just messin' around B)
  7. No, the Malibu had a fuel tank located closer to the rear of the vehicle than the others. I do not know if this had to do with overhangs, but I know the Malibu's was closer than the rest. I distinctly remember reading this...I'm going to find the source. EDIT: I tried looking for it, but I cannot find it.
  8. Do a google search for "malibu" and "fuel tanks" and you'll come across quite a few links regarding this well-publicized case.
  9. C'mon now Wheels! Chevrolet has been around forever! Oh, you mean the OTHER "performance" division...yea...
  10. I sure have, friends with several of them! But their skin isn't cream-colored, more like cafe au lait! Here are two of my friends, Rachel (left) and Kaiti: Kaiti has the closest to cream-colored skin, but she's white. Rachel? Kinda CoffeeMate.
  11. Bye, bye, Pontiac!
  12. The Malibu had a particularly unsafe fuel tank location, only 11 inches from rear bumper, well in the crush zone. The others on that platform had theirs forward a good deal. BTW--it was introduced for 1979.
  13. Hmmm...product development is cut...dealership consolidations are in place...change of top management...wow this is like Oldsmobile all over again, but without the little pesky independent dealerships!
  14. Don't forget the fact that it blew up in many rearenders due to fuel tank being behind the rear axis a mear 12 inches away from the rear bumper, a characteristic it did not share with any of its platform mates!
  15. :metal: :metal: :metal:
  16. Not really, but the girl did have talent. The main difference with this show versus most others is that you have to have talent to be in it, and talent to win it.
  17. Picture quality was very poor, but it looked good from what I could see.
  18. THIS is EXACTLY what the LaCrosse should have looked like! Agree with you on everything. I never thought the LaCrosse interior looked good in pictures and after sitting in it, I like it even less. The whole thing is so cheap looking, and not only that, but cheesy as well. That Jag was clearly the inspiration, but the LaCrosse, as per the GM usual, falls very short. Nice point on the guages...I always had something against them but couldn't articulate it well. I agree with your assessment 100%
  19. Word on the street says that the CTS interior could match anything from Japan or Germany in the 40k segment. Remember, CTS is currently in the 30k segment.
  20. I'd swap the ratings on the Equinox and Malibu...and lower the Cobalt rating. Cobalt's interior is much too cheap in person, though it photographs well.
  21. especially in daisy dukes and red high heals rolling around on the ground for the Crazy In Love video...mmmmmmhmmmmmmmm!!!
  22. Cream colored skin? Dude, Beyonce's black! But she does have beautiful skin... Beyonce is one of the hottest girls in music.
  23. Beyonce is extremely talented...and those legs...
  24. Gotta dispute this. WHEN THEY WORKED, absolute blast to drive. People either love these Cateras to death, or hate em with a fiery fiero passion. No middle ground. I always liked em myself...
  25. I say keep fighting. One of these days justice will prevail. Just because it doesn't matter to the majority of Americans doesn't mean we should ignore the minority who is affected by it.
