  1. A board just to talk abot a car that isn't even here yet?
  2. You better be, pal....
  3. Nothing wrong with modifying exotics.
  4. Marcos was once here?
  5. Sexay!! The front overhang's a bit long, but overall that thing should exist in higher quantities....
  6. Don't offer up the GTO to make anything like that. BTW, folks, IIRC, the Avanti of these times actually used the Camaro for the base.
  7. I always liked the Zimmer....I had no idea it was Fiero-based, however. That would make for a tight cabin fit, but also makes for interesting mod ideas.
  8. That's kinda cool, but....does he really expect to tow anything with that car?

I knew nothing good could come of this....knowing what y'all look like (except those who've historically shown their faces) really kills it for me.
  10. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, pallie, sorry....
  11. That would be brilliant. You're no longer handicapped by the bowtie and could easily move everything they make elsewhere in the GM stable. Chevy was the last of the original six anyway.
  12. Yeah, just a really bitter subject...but I know a lot of folks will flock to it later, watch.....

I probably should have added that I was just joking around.....too late now.
  14. Don't start this again...all it does is hurt feelings.... BTW, I'll go with Saturn (or just rename it Olds....they should spin off or sell Saab)

Only two things I will share: -Just got Amerie's Touch album today. That piece is quite nice. -Y'all can keep the death metal. And oh yeah, reggaeton is annoying too.....

(after knightfan's long post) A life. Get one.
  17. Big Chevy fan, I take it?
  18. Corvette's close enough in Pontiac feel, just replace the bowtie with an arrowhead. Again, like I said, Sky would just be the radical freshening two or three years after this current Solstice. The VUE has a Honda engine? Anyways, you can't say that the VUE Redline isn't one of the coolest small utes out there...give it a Torrent grille, but keep the Vue headlights, LOL LOL, would renaming the HHR "Silver Streak" make you happy?
  19. Wouldn't know how to make such a list, but I'll attempt to. -the Aveo sedan (I HATE sedans that small and narrow, the hatch is good enough) -the ION sedan (the coupe is beautiful, the sedan is badly carved) -Montana SV6/Relay (only Chevy and Buick need vans....and even Buick could use more of a luxury spin on it) -DTS (Escalade should be the only non-Sigma in the lineup) -Torrent (redundant answer to a question no one was asking, basically there for volume purposes) -Rendezvous or Rainier (pick one, drop the other...luxury SUVs are a necessary evil in this market....or you can merge the two: put the Rendezvous greenhouse on the Rainier's lower half, and you have a unique winner) -CTS or BLS (no room for both...one rear-drive entry-level Caddy to replace them)
  20. We've already done the "create/bring back" thread and the "drop" thread, now here's one we were screaming to see....because we know it's what GM needs to do. I'd do the following: -Corvette to Pontiac (yes, it will be controversial, but why is the top dog sports car in GM's lineup a Chevy, the basic division?) -Sky to Pontiac (as the Solstice's mid-run freshening) -Torrent to GMC (what would a Torrent Denali be like?) -VUE to Pontiac (if Pontiac's going to have a Theta at all, they should have the coolest one) -HHR to Pontiac (should have been the Vibe's replacement) -Aveo to Saturn (Saturn just seems be a better place for cars THAT small, even with Chevy's dating-back-to-'75 tradition) -Montana/Relay to GMC (Buick can keep the Terraza) -BLS to Buick (makes more sense there) Ban me please!
  21. BV may have beaten me for the first all-Pontiac post, but mine will do him one better regardless: Phoenix - return of the rear-drive compact (Ecotec, Atlas) Firebird - return of the grand tourer (Atlas, LS) Fiero - return of the mid-engine club racer (HF) Tempest - return of the full-range intermediate, in coupe, sedan, and wagon (Atlas, LS) Grand Prix - return of the personal luxury performance car, the flagship (LS) And anyone wondering about the GTO? It would be a Tempest coupe with the Grand Prix's engine, only lighter with less of the fussy technocrap. My big dream idea, however, is for Pontiac to develop a new OHC engine family with a small-displacement V-8 and the first American V-12 in a long time

This thread is criminal. And my chair just broke while reading it....
  23. Just bumped into it, and figured it attention-getting enough to use for avi purposes....
  24. The Today show: -first time I ever saw this: fastback Montego (I've only seen Gran Torino versions ever in my life before today) -4-door Gran Torino -spotted my first '06 Sonata -another new Quattroporte -80s Town car on modern low-profile wheels and tires
  25. To paraphrase Eeyore, thanks for noticin'...
