  1. A few I believe in.... Try this...the Kuhl, a new style of steelie: http://www.kuhlwheels.com/ I love Panasports, though they're small by today's standards. OZ has long been my favorite wheel company....too bad I can't find a picture of the dish wheel made famous in the touring car races...but this will do: But yeah, that's basically my style...nothing corny, and I definitely don't need chrome...
  2. That was one merger I really hated, because all it did was eliminate a competitor, which one should not want in the cell business. I was hoping Vodafone (the British company, famous for being on the front of Manchester United's jerseys) would have bought them instead, bringing forth their entry into the U.S. market (and keeping the number of carriers at six) Kinda funny, however, that I didn't mind Sprint buying NEXTEL...why? Sprint uses infinitely better phones.
  3. Also a white H3. This was just to run my post count artificially into SS Member :P
  4. Must have just came from watching White Men Can't Jump in the theatre....
  5. Gelandewagen last night.
  6. Forgot the following: -CTS V-series (#5, I think) -73 Delta 88 convertible -something else I'm struggling to remember...[edit: now, I remember....gray-silver Viper GTS] Last night, a white stock 69 Camaro with a black vinyl roof. Continental GTs are now off my spot list, as are stock 06 Impalas This may have been a week ago, but I also spotted a B-body Chrysler wagon, probably 78.
  7. I went to the Indian buffet for champagne brunch today. -lamb curry -sag (spinach curry) -tandoori chicken -whatever the vegetable of the day was (looked to be gooseneck squash) With naan bread on the side, bubbly to sip up, and gulab jamun for dessert. Knock none of it until you try it.
  8. Someone at a neighbor's house had a real Ferrari Daytona.
  9. Someting I wondered about: If children have sex with children, are they pedophiles too?
  10. A kinky abduction, eh? I wonder if S&M would have to come afterward or something..... I have to wonder what the hell newbies would think coming to this board right about now.....
  11. If I'm single around the time I can afford one, I'm building one.... Too bad full-size vans are seen as kidnapmobiles....

And oh yeah, NOS, this was one topic I was happy to see die, but it's no big deal....

Plastic shot cups of that color make it look like you are all taking cough syrup. You sure you all aren't from Texas?
  14. Well, Croc, diesel is still sold as fuel, and diesel trucks, old and new, heavy and light, comb these streets all day....but it does seem that there isn't much tolerance to have diesel passenger cars out here, which I find kinda weird. I wish more biodiesel and cooking-oil powered vehicles would find their way out here....
  15. I agree up until the point your theory kills the great trucks like Lightning and 454SS. Beyond that, you're right, people who insist in driving H2s, Suburbans, Expeditions, and even the mid-size stuff like Explorers and 4Runners, should be in diesel versions. Pickups too, but I find the SUVs to be a bigger problem right now.
  16. I swear the 80s X-cars are too famous for the earlier versions' own good. In any case, when hooked up, a lot of 68-79 Xes are quite sexy.
  17. Yeah, you should add "none of the above" to the list There is no absolute essential, as long as it goes fast good, accelerates great, and handles better....plus most importantly of all, looks the business, and doesn't give off that throwaway car vibe. If that's a front-drive NA V-6 automatic sedan, so be it.
  18. (No offense, since I've never seen you post, but) How old are you, 13? Those are two totally different cars. Rear-drive V-8 technoluxobarge vs. front-drive V-6 North-America-only seniormobile. Looks between the two are completely different, as are the dimensions. Let's not let the hatred of Toyota Motor Sales get in the way of the facts.
  19. I think the car ain't half-bad myself....though I personally wouldn't do the TVs-in-weird-locations thing.
  20. Name a PRODUCTION car from: Chevy that starts with the letter G Ford (division) that starts with D Pontiac that starts with R Dodge that starts with B Toyota that starts with N I don't think there ever was one of any of them, and each of these companies have used lots of names from all over the alphabet... BTW, trim levels (e.g. Chevey Beretta GTZ) do not count. edit: Neither do body codes :P I'm looking for actual NAMEPLATES.
  21. -59 Cadillac coupe -Alfa GTV -A tow truck hitching up a white Trans Sport, with a silver Trans Sport right behind it with hazards on (weird)
  22. I want to see if the Slade really does become the ultimate luxury SUV (and maybe takes a little from my beloved SRX in smoothness)...or if it ends up just looking like a warmed-over Chevy/GMC. That being said, I also hope the Yukon Denali can get a little of its shine back from the Escalade. As in my mind the original Slade was a Yukon Denali with a wreath-and-creast badge.
  23. With me, it started with the F-bodies, mutated into Pontiacs in general, then (as I noticed the styling of them all) GM as a whole. They should never have sold Lotus. I think, with the right cars, it easily could have taken Aston, Ferrari, Porsche, and Lambo...
  24. LOL, the funniest part of Fiddler On The Roof....makes me smile to this day.
  25. I do miss that feature.
