    I called this one...

No surprise to me that this happened, but as I said back when Toyota unseated GM, don't count on anyone hanging on to the sales title for very long anymore. GM's record in holding the title for decades is unlikely ever to be matched.

You were not so sure about this when they killed Pontiac. See the Sun still comes up. LOL!

No, the sun went dark and has stayed that way since they killed Pontiac.

I would rather see GM have the most profit and cash flow than #1 in sales. #1 in sales makes you the hunted..... not the hunter. Best to let Toyota or VW be #1 in sales and let them deal with all the scrutiny the media will bring upon them.

    • I meant low cost cars like Sentra, Jetta, Taos, Trax, Maverick, Mazda 3, etc at are made in Mexico.    And Honda and Toyota definitely sell Canadian made cars here, I've even seen UK built Civics here. Yes, but even a Pilot or Odyssey is about 70% American parts, 30% of the parts going in will be tariffed.  Honda could be okay, Tesla, the VW Buzz are all high American parts content.   But no one is immune from the storm, and the tier 2 and 3 suppliers could get hit hard too.
