YJ's recent Craigslist submissions for his Monte far surpassed what constitutes a normal Craigslist entry; they were so good, they should've been flagged for removal. So I went looking for some more normal posts. These are pretty tame... http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/1398532264.html http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/pts/1409994135.html Post the ones you've encountered recently.

I've been looking at comfortable, cheap SUVs that I won't mind putting a ton of miles on due to a job duties change that is starting in 2015. I'll be driving back and forth between Pittsburgh and NJ twice a month... So I was looking at Rainiers and 9-7x since they can be had for cheap and some of them come with rear air suspension. (I've also been looking at MB GL350 CDIs with airmatic too.... because I'm a masochist apparently) In the process I found this: 2004 Buick Rainier GNX Prototype They claim it is a one-off that was sold at Barrett Jackson when GM went into Bankruptcy. It has a supercharged V8 (5.3??), Borla exhaust, and AWD. I can't seem to…

It's not my ideal, but it would end up being a screaming deal for me. It stickers at $41,7xx With GM Supplier Discount that I'm eligible for, it would be $38580 It is still technically "new" but it has 3,000 demo miles on the clock, so they would knock another $1,000 off of that. There is currently $4,500 in rebates also plus I could get 60 months at 0% interest. So I'm looking at $33k for a truck with a ticker of $41,7xx It's a V6 4x4 with the big screen MyLink, cloth interior, G80

14,000 original miles on this 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Regular Cab Z71 4WD Sportside: Craigslist ad: http://philadelphia....3079295887.html Dealer's site: http://www.woerths.c...0-SLE-4x4.shtml - For those that know me, this is the holy grail I've desired for so many years (dark blue would make this 100% perfect). This was the last year (2005) that GM offered the sportside bed option. This truck appears to be a very well-loaded model. 14,000 miles. I wish there was a way I could get this truck, even with the new '14s coming out I'd LOVE to own this one. I can't do a 3rd vehicle, nor can I replace the Envoy (family hauler) for this. Oh this sucks.... Anyone cl…

http://cnj.craigslist.org/cto/4578545956.html - 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Ram Air Coupe I was searching G-body Pontiac Grand Prix's ('81-'87) and stumbled upon this awesome low-mileage 2000 T/A Ram Air WS6 Coupe. The wife and kids love this car, and I can't say I blame them. I had a a '95 T/A Coupe (used) in 1998 & 1999 - I absolutely love the '93-'02 generation ('96 & '97 WS6 Coupes are my true love). The '95 I got rid of for a more family sensible ride ('99 Grand Am GT1 Sedan) and the wife has not to this day let me forget how much she loved my '95 T/A. Showing her this 2000 got her all worked up and my son jumped on the bandwagon. Neither want me to pass …

Lately I've been bringing truckloads of.... stuff home, all sorts of interesting vintage tidbits, parts, tools & whatnot. Tonight was boxes of factory & aftermarket mechanical parts. Anyone need an NOS fuel pump/filter for a '47 Willys? Maybe someone here recognizes these 2 caps : This one reminded me of the '79 Eldorado caps (the section with the holes is cast metal, so it's rather heavy for a hubcap), but it's not that. No holes for a center emblem is a puzzler, too. It's not going to be post '85, I believe. This one I've never seen before, is reminding me of '60s/early 70s Jeep (I think it's the red stripe), but I've not placed it yet. Another one without …

This really isn't a post about selling as much as a review but I figured this would be the best place to put it. I know I have discussed a few of these products in other threads (such as the rim wraps and Duplicolor paint kits) but I wanted to do a more comprehensive post on the available options out there since they do seem to be multiplying at an astounding rate. If you're interested check out my post entitled What's a wheel accessory and why do I care? Feedback of any kind is always appreciated and, if you read all the way to the end, there's a chance to get a prize (sort of a prize anyway). Thanks again and enjoy the warming weather!

What does everyone think of do-it-yourself paint protection? Is it a job you would consider doing yourself or do you think it is something best left to the professionals? In terms of PPF, would you consider using thinner films like Rshield (at 4mil) which offer the UV protection and prevent light damage from scuffing but won't prevent rock chip damage at high speeds or would you bite the bullet and go for 3M or similar? http://auto-trim.org/2014/01/16/paint-protection-kits-ppf-for-the-rest-of-us/

It should be no surprise that I look weekly for GMC pickups from two different generations: 1955-1959 and 1973-1987 ('89-'91 V3500). While most times the measley sum of cash available to me won't get me the trucks I find, it doesn't stop me from contemplating 'projects'. I present for discussion the following two '86 GMCs: http://southjersey.craigslist.org/cto/4234478112.html *Asking price: $1200 http://delaware.craigslist.org/cto/4267461741.html *Asking price: $700 I'd want to fix up the first '86 (C2500) and use the second '86 (K1500) to make one truck. Not sure but likely would keep the C2500 a 2WD. I'd use as many parts from the K1500 to fix u…

Yes, the holidays are upon us and people have spared no expense and put themselves in grave risk of bodily harm just to decorate their homes for the holidays but, sadly, the same cannot be said for their cars and trucks. In honor of the neglected and forgotten rides sitting in driveways and garages from Brooklyn to the Bay Area we thought we would post a quick reminder that Rvinyl offers not only smoked head and taillight film in standard charcoals but we also offer a number of festive films such as green, red, blue, pink, orange and yellow. http://blog.rvinyl.com/2013/12/24/colored-head-and-taillight-tint-for-the-holidays/

Hey everyone I hope your Tuesday's going well. We just got a bunch of rebate submission photos of a precut headlight kit installed on a 2002 Mini so, naturally, I did a blog post and threw them up on YouTube. If you take a look you'll see our customer (who now has tinted headlights and received a $20 rebate refund on his purchase) hand-trimmed the headlight tints because they are normally designed to cover the entire light. Not my cup of tea but he did a nice job. So, check it out and let us know what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qy5OkU9L4jM&feature=youtu.be http://rvinyl.blogspot.com/2013/12/customer-installation-photos-of-mini.html

Does anyone here have experience with installing and using racing seats? We have been revamping our catalog and I have no real experience with them. Currently we have harnesses and seats in the same category (because it seems to make sense) and although I know harnesses should only be used in race cars for safetly purposes I don't think the same is true for seats. Lambrecht Collection 500 Cars From An Old Car Dealer In Nebraska – Trade Ins, Never Sold New Cars, More A small town Nebraska Chevy dealer took every unsold new car from every model year he was in business and just about every single car he ever took as a trade in and saved them all. Sounds cool, right? It is, especially when you know that there are 500 of these cars and they they’re all heading for auction at the end of August. According to the auction house the vast majority of these cars are original survivors that have not been altered much from their stock configuration. http://www.teamtoyota.net/used/Pontiac/2001-Pontiac-Firebird-8fea50030a0a006501f7456fa35f1691.htm I'd like to own this car. I know it has an automatic and is a non-WS6 Ram Air car, but there's just something about the option content of this bright red Pontiac that calls out to me. $15,726 however does not have my name written all over it

Price started at $35,990 but didn't last long there. I've wanted a Hummer H3T Alpha since they were introduced, and I can still "see" the red one that was on the turntable at the 2009 NYIAS. I followed a white, non-Alpha H3T for a while on my commute home last night. If I went …

This car, from the looks of the exterior, is exactly the car that started it all for me. Nearly identical to my first Toronado except this one has a sun roof. It popped up for sale on EBay today for $1500 less than 30 miles from my house. Of course, I'm in Tulsa Oklahoma this week!!! I'm trying to get in contact with the seller.

http://delaware.craigslist.org/cto/3604035703.html Looks very clean for its age and well cared for, but 215k in miles and asking $4,000? It may be a good deal for someone looking for such a clean example. This has been posted on and off on CL, likely not attracting any buyers at that price. I was in LOVE with these Suburbans back then. Especially two-toned like this blue & white one. If I had $2,500-$3,000 available, I'd make an offer. Definitely loving that color combo!!

First, swap out the bumpers for something more elegant and overhaul the interior. Next, replace the 351 with something more period appropriate like a straight 8. Finally, lose the hood ornament, black hood scoop and whatever that triangle shaped thing the back license plate is on to clean up the front and rear ends. I don't know, what do you guys think?

1999 GMC Suburban 1500 SL 2WD: http://winnerford.reachlocal.com/?scid=1782856&kw=6725450&pub_cr_id=13483169053 http://southjersey.craigslist.org/ctd/3420387572.html This is probably the most basic '90s GMT-400 GMC Suburban I've ever seen. No 3rd row seat; vinyl 6-passenger seating (bench seats 1st & 2nd rows); front A/C only; AM/FM Stereo; manual windows and locks; no crusie control. Surprisingly, it has the upgraded 2WD aluminum wheels, rear hatch/tailgate (barn doors standard), and bright bodyside molding (options on the SL trim). Very low mileage for it's age - 69,xxx miles. But $6,995???? These used vehicle prices are out of control!?!? …
