The STS shown here is powered by a 3.6-litre High Feature V6, and now sports an Escalade-style grille and euro-style tail lights.

Of course it sports euro-style tail lights, it's a euro-spec car (note the amber rear side-markers and the rear fog lights between the exhausts)!

What the hell is that in the middle of the rear valance / bumper cover?

Looks like this is some weird hybrid prototype... or something else odd.

There was just something incredibly odd about this test car, and I finally figured out what it was... The color. 'Silver Green' was only available for 2005. It was dropped (IIRC) due to low demand. I wonder if this is just a left over 2005 model with exterior updates... that might explain why the interior doesn't have any updates.

Since they're using that front bumper and rear bumper, being that they're not color-matched.. anybody think the bumpers could've undergone a minor refreshening, too?

I love the taillights and grille.. I'm not a fan of the LEDs between the tailpipes, though.

I'm not a fan of the LEDs between the tailpipes, though.

That's the only place where they can insert the euro-reg rear fog lights without ruining the car's looks. I'd prefer a single rear fog light, located at the centre, like the Mini has.
