Something looks out of place

Doesn't the radio look like it is too far of a reach from the driver in the 2007 Tundra. I thought this from day 1. Here is the pic. Does anyone think this as well?

But yeah, I can see what you mean. It should line up more with that gigantic center armrest. Has a lot of climate control dials too.

if they add steering wheel controls that'd be fine... but as a whole.. it's still WTF Toyota? looks like the passenger gets "screwed" as far as thier side of the cabin looks. trying to make the driver feel like the light side and who's the passenger, "PHHHHHHHH, Luke, Pumphfffffffffff, I am your father"

The thing I dont get is why they want to improve vehicles but to change the radio, you would have to take your eyes of the road totally almost. I can't stand the new Tundra. I love the Ram and the Sierra.

Yes. Toyota ergonomics are hardly respectable. Take my rental Corolla (please!)...you have to lean a little bit to reach the tuning knob. In and of itself, not a big deal, but when you realize every other company has somehow mastered it...

One side of the dash silver and the rest normal? What the f@#k!? Poor egronmics by judging from the photo, and what the hell is up with the climate controls? Is the interior a way for Toyota to secretly test the aerodynamics of a human being? Toyota must be plotting to use people who buy their cars as missiles...

I't looks like the ergonomics are going to be horrible. Seems like Toyota want's to hear "Hey nice interior" vs. "Hey I don't hafta break my arm to reach the radio while i'm belted in". As for the nice interior comment, this does look to be put together very well, but as far as the layout...

And Toyota wonders why the Tundra doesn't even take much of the market from the Big 3's full-size sales, ffs cars buyers and truck buyers are different. To most truck buyers, comfort is a key, they want something cozy and easy to maintain/use, not some space age looking interior w/ bad ergonomics.

I gotta agree with all of y'all. It looks like polished $h!, which means they just got $h! everywhere. I swear, the ergonomics for the radio are better in my 76 Chevy that's 30 years old than this thing!

Somebody actually kept the origional radio in a 1976? Just kidding but seriously, people need to open their eyes and realize that toyota and Honda dont know everything.
