MITSUBISHI MOTORS REPORTS ITS BEST NOVEMBER SALES MONTH SINCE 2006

December 01, 2017 — CYPRESS, Calif.

  • Total November sales of 8,609 are up 24.8 percent compared to last November
  • Outlander had a huge November with sales up 68.5 percent from a year ago
  • Calendar year 2017 sales up 7.1 percent with 95,185 units sold

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) reported November 2017 sales of 8,609 up 24.8 percent from November 2016, its best November sales since 2006. Leading the charge was the three-row, seven-passenger Outlander CUV, which reported 3,740 units sold, an increase of 68.5 percent over last November.

Outlander Sport recorded November sales of 2,931, up 24.5 percent from November 2016. Together with the Outlander, Mitsubishi CUV sales were up 45.8 percent for the month when compared to last November. For the calendar year, total sales are 95,185 up 7.1 percent.

"November was a big month for the brand, our best November in 11 years," said Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, MMNA. "The Outlander and Outlander Sport are products that are resonating with consumers, and we're focused on a strong finish to 2017 and a fifth consecutive year of sales growth."
