Maybe they will 3D print it...seems like an interesting fantasy...maybe they can cut a deal w/ Mattel, would make a nice Hot Wheels car in different scales.

Not yet. Tesla started with talk/ planning/ modeling/ etc- all modern hopeful OEMs do. And you well know the cost of a start-up is tremendous.

Tesla used Lotus bodies to start.

Sure, but I'm pretty sure before Car #1 there were sketches, computer renderings, planning stages, etc.

That rear end could easily go on a modern Cadillac coupe. The next Elmiraj concept or  CTS CT5 Coupe.
