Spied: 2008 Honda Civic Type R

Posted Image

The new Honda Civic hatch sold in Europe will be receiving a Type R version (as always) for the 2008 model year. Primed to do battle with the likes of the GTI, it will likely use the same powerplant that is in our (better-looking) Civic Si: the 2.0L, 197-hp four-banger.

I hope the production version looks better, which it will. That still has camo on it. It definately looks european, I don't think it'd fly over here.

Looks like something that would compete with a Yaris.

I'd rather have a fit instead. :P J/K

As long as you have one and don't throw one... :P

To be fair... at least Honda has made a car that gets a second glance, and not from some rice-boy.

Yep it's ugly, but at least it's not neuter either.

I don't think it looks too bad. The short hood/ultra slopey windshield works better on the taller hatch than our sedan.
