We got a new black Z06 brought in to our shop today. As most of you know, the roof is non-removable on that model. Except, on this particular car, the roof removed itself. Not completely, but the adhesive bond failed on the front 3 sides of the roof skin panel. We found a TSB, so there must be a precedent. GM has an adhesive kit to remedy the situation.

Damn, it's a gorgeous, sexy car.

Yep, it happened on another one too. Apparantly (and this is true) the supplier of the adhesive material sent a bad batch of it to GM and they used it (unknowingly) on some Z06s... not good.
