I see Ford Motor beat all of GM too.

FoMoCo beat GM in May.  During the year, GM outsold FoMoCo.

The great news is that Buick is going like gangbusters.  Cadillac is doing very well too.  But why are Chevy and GMC down though?

Are you sure?

Ford + Lincoln = 241,126 sold

GM = Chevy+GMC+Buick+Cadillac = 237,364

Yup Ford beat GM by 3,762 auto's.

Interesting when you look at the rebates:

FORD F150 has a $5,150 rebate and Expedition has $7,000

http://www.realcartips.com/ford-incentives/

GM Trucks has $3,500 on Chevy full size truck and only $500 on GMC full size truck, full size SUVs are $1,500 on both Suburban and Yukon.

End result is that the ATP is much higher on GM than Ford auto's.

Amazing to see that other than the Fiesta that has Zero rebate, every auto Ford has is at least $2,000 plus or bigger to move metal. GM on the other hand has many that are below $1,000, either 500 or 750. Yes they do have some in the 4K range too.

Chevy lacks crossovers, that is problem #1 there.  They need to get a crossover between Equinox and Traverse, and maybe one between Trax and Equinox.

GMC also has just 2 crossovers, not sure if the new Terrain is on sale yet, if it isn't that could explain the problem there.

Cadillac got outsold by Acura, ouch.

I feel like I am living in an alternative universe where nothing much surprises me any more.

Brutal numbers for Jeep and Hyundai.
