VOLKSWAGEN OF AMERICA REPORTS APRIL 2017 SALES RESULTS

  • April sales totaled 27,557 units, an increase of 1.6 percent over April 2016
  • Total Golf sales, including Golf SportWagen and Alltrack, totaled 7,187 units delivered, an increase of 40.7  percent over April 2016
  • Chattanooga-built Passat sales totaled 6,148 units, an increase of 9.2 percent over April 2016

Herndon, VA — (May 2, 2017) Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA) today reported sales of 27,557 units delivered in April 2017, a 1.6 percent increase over April 2016. With 96,426 units delivered year-to-date in April, the company is reporting an increase of 7.7 percent in year-over-year sales.

They still need crossovers, SUV's and better /more suited to USA market products. Sadly, VW execs seem to ahve a tin ear to this issue.
