The 2017 Continental is the strongest proof point yet of our brand reinvention.  Its name has long been synonymous with the ultimate in Lincoln luxury.  Continental is attracting new customers while at the same time establishing a new standard for product excellence and client experiences. 

We will continue the momentum with the launch of our broadcast campaign – once again featuring Matthew McConaughey – showcasing Continental against scenic Icelandic landscapes.  The campaign will make its broadcast debut on Dec. 31 with two television spots, “Entrance” and “Crafted” airing on New Year’s Eve during the Peach Bowl and Fiesta Bowl.

Ahead of that, I am pleased to announce that this morning one of our spots – “Crafted” – was exclusively debuted in USA Today.  I encourage you to view it on our Lincoln Motor Company YouTube page.

Thanks.. This is absolutely refreshing in the wake of the conversation on the other thread. This epitomizes what I have said about this car all along.. not looking luxury.. but at best premium.. even in Black Label form. In fact.. there several times that I thought I was gonna see the word "Taurus" pop up on the screen. What in tarnation makes this car stand out??? It might be reason one as to why the hell they filmed it in what looks to be 3 inches of standing water.. away from every other car on planet Earth.

All I kno is that if I were Matty boy.. I'd be pissed having to stand there with my Salvatore Ferragamo bound feet immersed in ankle deep water. At least till I went and cashed the paycheck they wrote me for making weird sounds, staring creepily into rearviews, and conjuring goofy grins. I'm literally Dazed and Confused. Excuse the pun..

Conti can use all the advertising it can finally get. Although, sales have hardly suffered thus far.

Can't wait to see the high water mark for this gorgeous luxury car.

Great commercial concept... but Matthew looks terrible.... I wish they would update their spokesmodel while updating their cars. 

At least the car shows well.
