Hyundai Motor America Reports Record September Sales

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyundai Motor America posted its best September ever, with sales of 66,610, up four percent year-over-year.  Both of the company's luxury division offerings, the Genesis G80 mid-luxury sedan, and flagship Genesis G90, are both now arriving at dealerships across the country.

"Strong performances by our Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport, in addition to the sub-compact Accent, lead the way to yet another record month," said Derrick Hatami, vice president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America. "Dealers are excited to have our new Genesis G80 and G90 models arriving as we start the fourth quarter."

Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport were up 5.6 percent for the month.
