Name: Ford F650 (2016)

Date Added: 01 August 2016 - 12:41 PM

Owner: Real Trucker

Short Description: For the last 35 years, Ford has been offering medium duty commercial trucks, and the trucks have evolved through joint ventures with multiple suppliers and other truck makers. However, all of that is changing in 2016. The partnerships and joint ventures are being left behind. Unfortunately, Ford’s line of medium duty trucks has not been updated as often as its other lines have. Since 2003, this line has only received moderate tweaks here and there. For the first time in a decade, the 2016 Ford F650 features an all new layout. Among the many new exciting features the line has to offer are more ponies under the hood and an improved fuel economy. The brand new 2016 Ford F650 is 100% Ford – even down to its powertrain. Ford is focusing on promoting the 2106 Ford F650’s more operator friendly cab and a new comprehensive warranty that significantly boosts its position within the industry. The 2016 Ford F650 boasts a newly designed exterior that moves these trucks into the 21st century and mirrors some of the design elements found on the F250 through the F550 Super Duty trucks. Even the interior design of the 2016 F650 is reminiscent of these smaller trucks. This powerhouse now boasts Ford’s own V-8, 6.7 liter Power Stroke turbo diesel engine and an automatic six speed transmission. For those who need a truck with more “oomph”, the 2016 Ford F650 is also available with an alternative 6.8 liter, V-10 engine. An exciting new feature on the 2016 Ford F650’s engine is its on demand diesel particulate filter regeneration, which enables optimal performance whenever it is required. Although a formal announcement has not yet been made, the engine is expected to be made available with three different output degrees. Each output degree will be optimized for the economic situation needs and energy needs of the specific application. Under the hood, the F650 has been equipped with a new suspension and framework, accompanied by a newly redesigned anti-roll bar. A tighter turning radius significantly improves the truck’s maneuverability when compared to previous generations. For an enhanced trip, longer fallen leave springs have been added. The truck has been equipped with reflector style, dual beam halogen headlamps that feature a chrome surround. Optional PowerScope trailer tow mirrors are also available with standard spotter mirrors in addition to Ford exclusive folding and power telescoping features. All 2016 Ford F650 trucks will be offered with two wheel drive only, but will be available in regular cab, super cab, and crew cab options. There are also multiple upgraded features available as add ons, so the truck can be customized to suit each buyer’s unique needs. The 2016 Ford F650 truck will be made available for purchase in January of 2016, and interest in Ford’s newest workhorse is high. The 2016 F650 is now available for pre-order. If you want to take your business to the next level, it is time to find out for yourself exactly what this truck has to offer.
