What does Cadillac mean to you?

To borrow from Jaguar... to me Cadillac is Class, Fast, Bad-Ass..

In the past, I would have used Jaguar's "Grace, Pace, Space", but the words no longer really describe today's Cadillac.  Grace implies a sense of delicacy.... I would call the 80s Cadillacs of Fleetwood, Seville, and Eldorado graceful.   Today's CTS and ATS are not... but they are classy looking.

Space no longer really applies to any luxury brand except for the large SUVs, so only the Escalade qualifies there.

Pace still applies, but I couldn't think of a rhyme.  :P

I picked bad-ass because of the V-Sport and V-Series lines.

Mercedes invented the 4-door coupe, which Audi, VW and BMW were quick to copy.  Now all the mainstream sedans want to look like a 4-door coupe since that is the trend.  CLS started it all in 2004

Hah! No they didn't.  Again Benz trying to take credit for inventing something they didn't (Like saying they invented the car, or Airbags, or ABS)

Try 2002 from Saturn or 1999 if you count the 3-door SC.

2004-Saturn-Ion-Quad-Coupe-719707-14-sm.

And 1978 from Oldsmobile

Good point on the Saturn coupe, always liked those suicide doors.  The Mazda RX-8 had a similar set up.    The CLS was still the trend setter that the rest followed.    But if you ask Google who invented the car, the response is Karl Benz.

Just stop this nonsense. You can't be a "trendsetter" if you were not the first to do it.

Good point by Oracle of Delphi. And Cadillac has ads for "the first ever CT6"

And?

Seriously? Is dead horse your favorite meal? You've certainly gotten the tenderizing part down pat.

Man, you missed a good opportunity to use this!

:deadhorse:

Damn it! Should have searched through the emoticon files for that one!

If it's on the internet, it must be true.
