431rwhp? That has to be a ringer. I typically don't like the theory of manufacturers sending ringers anywhere and if Hennessey bought this to study/tune it a different story but if these were given to them from a test fleet it sounds like a good ole fashion ringer.

That power loss is only 24hp. No way something only loses 5%. I know modern drivetrains have advanced A LOT but they still lose more than 5%. The Corvette lost 13% and the Camaro only 5%..?

That's the thing. GM has a history of underrating engines (remember that LS7 in the last Head2Head?). But the LT1 is only a couple years old. Is it possible that they've been able to sneak another 20-30hp out of it in only two years?

The different drivelines and exhausts have to play some sort of role.
