I just read that Dodge was to become the new FCA performance marque here: http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...-srt?fbfanpage

Anyone else hear this? I tried searching the forum but didn't get any results.

Yes this was covered in the front home page story on FCA 5 year plan where it was covered that Dodge would merge with SRT and be the Focused Performance Brand.

Interesting....they built one heck of a small car in the Neon R and T and ACR, and also the older 67-69 Barracuda was a neat smaller performance car. the 2.2 Liter turbo cars of the eighties could be really quick, and were neat cars for their day.

As much as I ahve given a total ration of crap to the Mopar/Nopower boys here at C and G, I would love to see them come out with some other smaller performance cars. Given some of the cool Quirky stuff they ahve brought out in the past, I am sure they could do it, especially with the Alfa links in europe.
