As long as there's tire smoke in your sig, you're not old! 8)

Just one--my Silverado, with the GM Card. My previous GM vehicles were either bought by my dad (GMC) or used (Oldsmobile).

I didn't read the first post so I put how many new GM cars my family (parents) has purchased (2) but even that is wrong because I was counting my Grand Prix, which was used when I bought it. Oops...

From my memory, we have had a 1986 S-10 Blazer, 1996 Blazer, 2000 Blazer and 1997 (or maybe 2000?) Grand Prix.

No worries, I have edited to poll to reflect the change in your vote from 2 to 0.

Just 1.

1992 Regal 3800 coupe

Had 2 Cutlass Supremes as hand-me downs.

Plan to buy new with GM Card proceeds fairly(sigh) soon

0, but I'm only 21. I would rather save for a few years and buy a car cash than to have to pay 400+ per month.

I may buy a Sky redline in a few years, depending on how much I am able to save by then.

Well... I misread the poll... and voted 1, but didn't see "new", so my GA doesn't count. :P

Anyways, 0, I guess. Looks like it might be that way for a long long long long long long long long long long time. First of all, because used cars are more affordable... And second, because I have more possible choices... And finally, because GM doesn't quite make my kind of car yet... an affordable, RWD, 4cyl powered, manual trannied compact coupe. :D

I wish GM would make that car, and sell it for around $18,000. I wouldn't mind a 3.6L version at around 22-23k either.

I voted 7 (including the upcoming SKY purchase <--- can be any day now!!!), but out of the 7 I purchased 4 in my name and the other 3 were purchased in my wife's name. So I still consider that 7 new GM cars (and I'm only 31!). 5 out of the 7 are leased vehicles, so that might clear up why so many cars in 7 years.

Here they are in order:

1) 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT1 Sedan (mine)

2) 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Sedan (wife)

3) 2001 GMC Sonoma "Highrider" (ZR2) Ext. Cab 4wd (mine)

4) 2003 Buick Rendezvous CX (wife)

5) 2004 Chevy Malibu LT Sedan (mine)

6) 2005 GMC Envoy SLT 4wd (wife)

7) 2007 Saturn SKY roadster (mine, mine, all mine!)

I'm working on getting rid of the Malibu and get back into leasing. Yes, it will be another GM vehicle #8! Add to that two used GM vehicles (1978 Camaro LT and 1992 Cavalier Z24 and my overall total is 9). Ummm ummm, I love me some of that :gm_logo: Koolaid :P

I'm gonna follow TruckGuy's lead, and include the purchases that I made, but my wife drives.

Mine:

'94 Cutlass Supreme SL

'01 Bonneville SSEi

'04 Grand Prix GTP Comp G

'06 Grand Prix GXP

Hers:

'99 Lumina LTZ

'03 Rendezvous CXL

'06 Rendezvous CXL

Had kind of a gap there for a while, since I was driving company cars from '97 to '01. Also, looking at the list, if I include my '88 Cutlass Supreme (which was used at the time), I have been driving a W-car since 1991 with the exception of the couple years I had the Bonneville.

Does leasing count? If so then I got the Equinox brand new.

Zero. Only new car we've ever owned, we being my wife and I, is our 06 Escape. Though when I go to replace my 01 Cavalier, it likely won't be a GM, since I get a sweet discount on Fords through CompUSA. CompUSA is a fleet partner with Ford, in case you're wondering.

I get Fords, Lincolns, Mercury's, and Mazda's at factory invoice. Volvos, Jags, and Land Rovers and a few percentages above factory invoice. We got our 06 Escape XLT for $24k, it stickered for $27. :ohyeah:
