Changes

- Transmission codes have been changed: (MN5) 4-speed automatic transmission, electronically controlled with overdrive, includes manual shift mode on 2ZH69, 2ZH37 and 2ZH67 models, (M15) 4-speed automatic transmission, electronically controlled with overdrive, includes manual shift mode, (MH2) 6-speed automatic transmission, electronically controlled with overdrive, includes manual shift mode and (MU9) 6-speed manual transmission. (MX0) has been removed.

- Hydraulic Power Steering (HPS) now standard on GT models

Unfortunately the ECOTEC is still 169hp, and no stick.

Minus the 3.6L V6, the other changes are... well... unexplainable.

It's still around. Just now called the GT Sport Package.

It makes since, if the 3.9L was indeed tuned for 227 horsepower. Hell, now the 3.5 gets 224.

Yeah. I hope it makes room for a GTP convertible with at least the 250hp V6.

Still available on the GT Sport Package with the 3.9L, i.e. 2006 GTP moved downwards as 2007 GT Sport.

So now there is 3 V6's all within 40 hp of eachother and 4 engines total?

I really don't understand the logic here....why don't they just drop the 3.9L and use the capacity for other applications. I guess they are keeping it around specifically for the manual transmission.

Not for 2007 unless it is a late addition, but I could see it happening for 2008MY.
