I'm doing my surfing around the 'net and cant help but laugh at the Honda Fit ad I'm being subject to on the front page of GMInsideNews.

You've got to be kidding me, right?

Thanks, without this thread I wouldn't have headed over there and therefore wouldn't have seen the spy shot of the GMT-900 GMC Sierra.

thanks a lot to you now. i just spent five minutes of my life looking for that picture only to find a completely unnavigatable format and a lot of wink wink nudge nudge commentary. where have all the real opinions gone? c&g i guess

Thanks, Satty, if you hadn't posted that, I wouldn't have seen the GMI spy shot either.

But Josh says he was just over there to check out a Honda ad...???

Josh, please explain yourself.

Oddly enough, I didn't see the Honda ad.

I did... It's not at the very top. It's above the main center article. However, when you click on the link inside the ad, nothing happens. It may only appear when you're not logged in.

No, wait I have an idea. If people dont mind the ads, I am going to whore C&G to finally make a buck.

Thanks for the feedback, fellas.

The Premium Membership Package (call it the LTZ or 2LT or something like that, give it a GM connection) would go a lot further than corny banner ads that nobody from the site will click. Its all a matter of what your membership is willing to do. I think we have enough members who would be willing to help fund the site in exchnge for a t-shirt/coffee mug/bumper sticker/one night with wpbharry and no banner ads. Obviously the powers that be over at GMI felt they didn't have that membership support or that they would be able to get more for ads, lets face it they have thousands (literally) more members than we do.

I don't mind ads, as long as they're not the annoying tribalfusion ones which circumvent browser popup blocking. I've heard from other websites that it actually harms the performance of the site, slowing down the actual content you're looking for.

Starting a motion to rename all of the Premium Subscribers "LTZ Members."

Hey there, we noticed you're using an ad-blocker. We're a small site that is supported by ads or subscriptions. We rely on these to pay for server costs and vehicle reviews.  Please consider whitelisting us in your ad-blocker, or if you really like what you see, you can pick up one of our subscriptions for just $1.75 a month or $15 a year. It may not seem like a lot, but it goes a long way to help support real, honest content, that isn't generated by an AI bot.

See you out there.
