What 7 cars available as either new or very low mileage used cars impress you the most for under 70K?

Only rule of this thread is that cars have to be currently available to the general public as new street legal cars that one could buy either new or nearly new for 70K or less. I'm going to give you my 7, then I want to see yours.

And any criteria for these cars is fine. If your a hair dresser in San Antonio and you want to nominate 7 versions of the VW Eos because that's what hair dressers in San Antonio drive...fine.

Just give me your lists, boys and girls. MINE

From most to Least expensive...

Porsche Cayman R

Corvette Z06

Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca

Kia Optima Turbo

Buick Verano

Volkswagen GTI

Chevrolet Cruze

NSX has been out of production for awhile....

If we allow used cars in the list, I want a K code 66 Mustang fastback, an Alfa GTV, and....

If we allow cars over 70 K, I could add a Ferrari 458 Italia.

Limiting it to new or late model (< 5 years old) I'd probably go with:

Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca

Camaro ZL1

Cadillac CTS-V (any bodystyle)

Dodge Charger R/T or SRT8 ('11+)

Chrysler 300 ('11+)

Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit ('11+)

Porsche Boxster S or Cayman

These are all cars I'd seriously like to own, new or slightly used..

Jeep Grand Cherokee would be a really nice choice.

What is the "age" you want the car to be?

I'm trying to ask what new or newish cars people are most impressed with.

Porsche Cayenne GTS (last version) with 6 speed manual - till Porsche bastardized it with only auto-trajic.

911-GT3/RS can be had for that price.

just about any corvette impresses me, even the base base for closer to 50g is a nice buy.

a basic v6 mustang or camaro does as well.

Like the Cayman and Boxsters as affordable sports cars.

I really just like about any car that has a high value to quality quotient...things that the new Cruze and Focus have at lower prices.

GTI is still great bang for buck.

A new base base 3 series with stick is a good buy. I do think an ATS2.0t will be a good buy.

Had my first ILX spotting yesterday, 33k, ouch. In comparo, a Verano at less price is impressive. Saw a new dark one today, looked great. The ILX i actually think looked really well done, just too much dough IMO.

Sports cars:

Corvette Grand Sport coupe ($56,000)

Camaro ZL1 ($54,100)

Mustang Boss 302 w/ stripe delete..MUAHAHAHA!! ($43,000)

(You can also get a 2013 Shelby GT500 and hit 200mph for $54,200.)

Subaru BRZ Limited ($27,500)

Sporty Luxury:

BMW M3 coupe ($60,100)

CTS-V coupe ($64,515)

Infiniti G37S Coupe 6MT (Rebadged as a Nissan Skyline 370GT-S; $44,200)

I would have liked to throw in a Jaguar XF S/C for $68,100, but that would have been eight cars. And I wanted the BRZ more.

Dodge Challenger R/T

Chrysler 300

Dodge Charger R/T

Ford Mustang Boss 302 or just a standard 5.0 GT

Jeep Patriot ( reminds me alot of the old Cherokee which is one of my favorite Jeeps )

Ram 1500

Cadillac CTS-V

GM just doesn't offer products I care for much these days, the Camaro hasn't really caught my eye as much as it would have if it were based on a second gen model. Oldsmobile is gone, Buick could fill that void but they lack RWD models, though I could see myself in a Regal GS. The CTS is about the only model currently that I would gladly shell out the cash for, and it's already getting on in years as far as the rest of GM's lineup is concerned. The Corvette is just way too low to the ground for my tastes and too small a cabin, I know it's sports car, but I just can't get comfortable in tight interiors. Chrysler is the only brand that offers the features I want (V8 RWD) in a variety of models, hence they make up the majority of my list.
