Steel blue Sky Redline Turbo. Not a huge fan of the color but love the car.

All of a sudden, in addition to it being 1000 degrees out, Kappa's have popped up everywhere and I see at least 3-4 a day now (at least the number I notice). The Sky still looks so damn good...

To think, I almost picked up a leftover 2009 Solstice in 2009/2010 as a spare. If only it were a Turbo, I would have and hid it somewhere...

Saw a few interesting cars on my holiday weekend around Chicagoland and Indianapolis and in between.... gorgeous Lime Frost '67 Mustang 2+2, a clean black '66 Olds 88 4dr, a sharp white '69 Camaro SS convertible, a black G8 GXP, a grabber blue '13 Shelby GT500, a dark blue '07--09 GT500..

Local guy has a '49-'51 Ford Tudor with faded black paint (I cannot tell the difference between the model years, but they generally look the same). I always see it in the driveway in the same spot, but Sunday morning I came up behind him on his road, two tiny dual pipes puffing a bit of blue smoke at times. I was struck with how small the car is, actually, how practically sized it is.

Yeah, the Kappa's are all coming out of the woodwork in southern NJ too. It's the nice weather that brings them out.

By the way, that color is called Bluestone Metallic, was offered only in 2007 and had a limited production run (wasn't available until fall of '06, though it was advertised with the February '06 ordering guide). I believe it was cancelled after the '07 build-out. Many people who waited for that color were disappointed, and several that ordered it weren't happy (most had orders waiting - so their car was the first they saw of it). I remember one Bluestone Metallic owner on the SKY forums was absolutely in love with the color - probably only person I knew!

Bright green/blue 2013 Ford Escape rolling down the street on the back of a mini car hauler, alongside a current gen Fusion. Looks interesting.
