Cheers or Jeers: 17 Mile 1995 Chevrolet Corvette Indy Pace Car

This is a perfect 1995 Corvette Indy Pace Car with only 17 miles! It's still in its new package with plastic in place and window sticker. Never finished being dealer prepped. Even the front rock guard is still in the trunk with the license plate cover.

One of 527 produced in 1995.

The Chevrolet Corvette was selected to pace the Indy 500 for the third time in 1995. Other than mandatory safety features, the Corvette needed no modifications to meet pace car specifications.

The pace car was driven by Chevrolet general manager Jim Perkins. It was his third time driving the pace car at Indy.

not as bad as the '98 shudder... still not the best pace car tho. we had a chance back in 87 to buy a 78 pace car still wrapped in the plastic with 11(!!!!) miles on the clock. a dentist in atlanta bought it, drove it home and parked it. passed away and it was part of his estate sale. the seller wanted $21K for it. my dad was all for it but my mom talked him out of it. we have pictures of it and of me and my sister standing in front of it.

SWEET, This is one car I would pay that price for and drive it home.

Great way to get a piece of history at a resonable price.

Ugh, pace car Corvettes.

Most are tacky, if not outright ugly.

This one is pretty bad, but the '98 is far worse.

The '78 is an exception to the rule.

If you like the '95s, the one to buy is a gently used ZR-1.

Jeers.
