  1. 1. Cheers or Jeers?

    • Cheers! One of the few cars worth owning from the doldrums of the 1974 lineup.

    • Jeers! Such a prestigious nameplate should not be sullied by a smog-era car.

1800 '74 Hurst/Olds's built, 380 with the W-30.

Interesting take on the hood- '70 scoops molded into a '74 hood; sorta nice in an over-the-top manner.

The Year of the Bumper kills the mediocre '73 design for me. Nice car but NOT at $55K.

By the narrowest of margins: Jeer.

I like these. Haven't seen one with a hood like that, I've only seen them with the louvers in the center, not the scoops. Maybe it was a W-30 thing in '74?

Though I like it the new paint, hood, aftermarket chromies andwireing mess under the hood detract too much and at 55K I don't see it either.
