CAFE 2016, what will it really mean for the auto industry...esp. as the EU and Japan are also demanding better fuel economy?

Oh darn, I thought you were opening a small eatery in 5 years. But no, it's all about the horrid idear that CAFE is the answer to anything. Cause it ain't.

A lot more A- and B- segment cars being pushed by the car makers...not sure how well they will sell unless gas prices go up, though.

Atlantic City has a Cafe 2825... I'm curious if it will still be here in 814 years. I'm curious if Atlantic City will be here in 814 years.

Ah yes, CAFE, the solution to all. The government might as well start a CAFE for Humans, as government mandated thin people are needed for the tiny CAFE cars the government wants us to settle for.

like all gov programs that decrease choice, from toilets (water per flush) to education, they make the provider(under gov regulation) be the leader in the product provided while trying to cater to consumers instead of trying to please the consumer first and worrying about how they are going to do it 2nd.

and while we're talking about cafe..... it is much more lenient than the #'s on the window show. hopefully didn't have to say this, but just a reminder. we can refer to dwight's comments on it about how it's something that should mostly be ignored.

I am hoping...because it would do away with the Miata, GTI, Civic SI, Volvo C30 and the other cars I really like...ugh...

Even the MINI can't make 45 MPG
