I've been wanting to sample Ben & Jerry's Schweddy Balls, but they're hard to find. Why do you suppose that is? They sound delicious. Has anyone eaten Ben & Jerry's Schweddy Balls?

Seems some stores are not selling this special edition flavor... due to pressure from mothers' groups. Not sure why. A kid who sees it in the freezer section is likely not to connect it with the SNL skit or the body part. I find the boycott to be an unnecessary waste of time.

Apparently the mothers held off complaining (despite really wanting to) about B&J's flavor, 'Hubby Hubby' which celebrated gay marriage. Schweddy Balls was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Satty, conservative is only a label that means something to those that are predisposed to others acting in such a behavior.

It was a shortcut because "wacky people who feel the need to force their definition of morality on the general public in spite of the lack of interest the general public has in having the definitions of right and wrong decided by one group that doesn't represent America as a whole" is a bit of a mouthful.

Yes..too many words to type. Another good old term for describing the same backward group is 'square'.

It may be a mouthful, but it is far more precise.

this can go for just about any topic....practically all of them. which is good and bad, but often horrific.

I agree camino.

Wacky conservatives, way to make good use of your time.

they do nothing constructive and have nothing better do to. We need to be more like Europe IMHO>

Meh, labels are part of the problem anyway.

This is partly true.

That certainly describes more than 1 group.

Of course it does, I had to PC my definition down before anyone got their panties in a wad. That said, One Million Moms is a far-right conservative group, affiliated with the far-right conservative American Family Association, so yeah, conservatives are the reason you can't buy Schweddy Balls.

If you can transport me to this ultimate free market Libertarian fantasy land, I'll take a Death Star. And I dont even like Star Wars.

So it's the usual idiot fringe groups. AFA is based in Mississippi, a state renowned for the ignorant and backward.
