For my Graphic Design cass we have to come up with a theme restaurant, so I figured a car themed one would rock. But I can't think of a good name for it yet? Any suggestions of a name?

And what would it serve for food?

Um... Honda and Driver? Toyota Trend?

Well since you said CR themed... :P

But seriously, our site's name would work: Cheers (food and drinking) and Gears (cars). I guess the admins won't mind you using the name...

Walter Peyton had a restaurant in Illinois, called Studebaker's. It served American food and featured an auto themed interior.

There are a couple of Italian restaurants I know called "Avanti".

There's a 50's themed drive-in called "Cruisers", featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, italian beef.

"Ferarri" could be an upscale italian restaurant, with the prancing stallion as part of the decor.

"The Cadillac Ranch" is a country and western bar and dance hall in the area. You could take the name and update the decor with Cadillac booths and make it a steak house.

Just a few suggestions.

Pick an old famous car name, and name it that?

the only car restraunt round heer is very classic and is in Brownsville and is called Boondocks, (brownsvilles population today is proably around 25. but they get lost of money due to its location on the highway leading you to Mt. Rushmore

Cheers & Gears would be cool. You even have logo's etc to chose from I'm sure Pauwels wouldn't mind.

It could be a restaurant/tavern. that would work.

Pontiac - serve indian cuisine.... see if anyone gets it.

In western PA <I dunno if they're anywhere else>, we have a chain called Quaker Steak and Lube. They're entirely Quaker State oil themed... and if you've ever wanted to eat under a corvette, you can.

They are famous for their buckets of wings

I think there's a place in Philadelphia called "The Pontiac Grill". And there's a place on 17th St in DC called "The Mercury Grill" if I'm not mistaken.

lol "Meal on Wheels" is the name of a local charity group in my area for the poor....

Also I ment "CAR" not "CR" ^^; typo...

I was thinking of Cheers and Gears...cuz it just sounds cool, just didn't know if I should/could use it or not.

SO does Camshaft's lol, i'd be like an all grease menu...no veggies lol XD

I know. I drove for them a few years ago.

What about the Dodge Lodge Steak House? Have all kinds of manly things like muscle cars in the waiting area, plates that look like hubcaps, booths that look like car trunks, waiters bringing steaks to customers in Dodge Power Wheels, etc.

As for the food, you could serve Elephant meat, Snake meat, Horse meat, you get the idea. (426 Hemi, Cobra, Mustang . . .)

Lol that's an awesome anaolgy with the meats and cars

I still like the way "Cheers and Gears" sounds ^_^

Is this a Corvette that's suspended over your table? Like a whole Corvette?? I'd hope the connections holding that thing up were sturdy... :P

Duuuuuude... burnout burgers are the best, man. You eat your first one, then, like, you have the munchies for the rest of the night, you just can't stop!
